Townsend made his England debut in a must win game, look how that turned out.

 

How many first team games had Hall started in his entire career? If he was worth playing in a game of that importance, why hasn't he figured much this season? There's no logic to it.

Completely irrelevant point. He'd actually made 32 first team appearances, 17 of which were at our level or above. How many international games had Townsend played? Fuck all!

 

As it turns out the decision backfired, what I was pointing out is that as Townsend proved, it could have gone completely the opposite way. It's not as though he'd never stepped on a pitch before, he'd played half the season in our league!

Not forgetting Hall did nothing wrong in that game and actually played quite well, just the set up of th team was out of whack and he was the victim of the re-shuffle

I don't like how Freedman sets his team out its the exact opposite of how Barca press and I don't think it suits us, but I think we need to give him time as it seems to me some players think they can wield player power, as a club we have to give him time and the authority to well and truly sort this out, only then can we move forward if some of the players get their way they'd have him out of the door, the sooner they realise that BWFC backing him to do the job the sooner they pack in their behaviour or fuck off out of the club, as I say I've my misgivings but I want a clear message from the club that DF and BWFC are bigger than any player clique. And to the fans who've not got the stomach for the fight now, don't bother coming back when it improves, just stay away and carry on doing whatever your doing your not missed.
