L/H White Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 (edited) I know it's early but... Early News Sir Des Champs out for the season Bobs Worth being backed here for the Gold Cup Edited January 3, 2014 by Ryan Quote
enzo gambaro Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 (edited) Rubi Ball looks a huge price antepost. His Lexus third was his first run over fences since coming over from France and he'd have been closer still if he hadn't missed the last. He'll certainly be a lot shorter if he repeats that showing next time out. Edited January 9, 2014 by enzo gambaro Quote

L/H White Posted January 9, 2014 Author Posted January 9, 2014 the 4 big ones, are the fields likely to change much now? Quote
Traf Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 A few drop outs, perhaps, but I can't see any additions on the horizons. Why? Quote
L/H White Posted January 9, 2014 Author Posted January 9, 2014 A few drop outs, perhaps, but I can't see any additions on the horizons. Why? I know you'll bollock me, but I wanted to put this multiple bet on Ante Post Hurricane Fly Big Bucks Cue Card Bobs Worth Quote
Traf Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Nah, short-priced 4-timers aren't that bad when you're dealing with quality. It's the random accas that folk put on weekly that fund the bookies. Big Bucks is an iffy one for me, despite his brilliant record. Not run since getting injured, they don't know who's going to ride and Annie Power is a big danger if she run against him. I know the prices will shorten, but I'd be waiting until BB returns on the 25th in the Cleeve. Quote
L/H White Posted January 9, 2014 Author Posted January 9, 2014 thanks mate, thoughts on the other 3? Quote
L/H White Posted January 9, 2014 Author Posted January 9, 2014 @bet365: BREAKING NEWS: The #CheltFest Ryanair Chase is now Non Runner No Bet & Best Odds Guaranteed! Cue Card heads the 43 runner market at 5/2! Quote
Traf Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 I would hope the Fly wins, but this is likely to be his toughest assignment yet. Both The New One and My Tent or Yours will be snapping at him and he's getting on a bit now. Cue Card is a good bet for the Ryanair, but still holds a Gold Cup entry, a race he won't win. If he does run in the Gold Cup, his early pace will ruin Bob's Worth's plans, allowing Silviniaco Conti to take the race. Bob's Worth should beat SC if the race is run his way, but there's no be much in it IMO. Quote
