COYW
We have one of those anthems that no one ever hears start. Should have some sort of countdown on the big screen so everyone knows when to start singing.

Tony Adams, proud as punch! I know not many are travelling to Brazil in the Summer, the Euro's in France though will see the hoards turn out again! Come on England! Pie Eater
Tony Adams should have twatted that Manc Twat for not joining in Why should someone who doesn't support the monarchy sing it? I know I'd never sing it. The queen and England aren't the same thing.

I'm an atheist republican so why would I ask God to save the Queen? I'd happily sing Land of Hope and Glory or something like that but not GSTQ Edited February 21, 2014 by Pie Eater
Members bolty58
wales, nz and aus proper anthems Go on then Cassie I'll leap on to the hook. NZ anthem - I agree. Aussie one is pants. The locals fuck about with it and I have attended many sporting events (including the 2003 RWC final) where a fair proportion have shouted "What's 'girt'?" after the 'Our land is girt by sea' line and many sing a different version which I won't write in it's entirety but the last two lines are:- "They'll rob your house and steal your car, The Aborigines" Now then, other than the inserted 'no surrender' which I find strangely appealing, I would be wound up if some fucker was bastardising GSTQ close to me. Seems a fair chance it would be some twat from Wigan.

davidjack
I don't sing it and bow to nobody - but especially the head of a family of parasites and all they stand for.

Bear in mind we've already established you approve of beating up women for 'persistent protest'. I'm sure her Maj would be proud...
