Official Rugby League Thread

I'm assuming there isn't one already? Had a quick look and could find nowt. Makes sense to have an official thread since there seem to be plenty of egg chasing fans on here

Anyhow, this has just been announced:

Will be a fucking brilliant day out, that! Leigh had better make it there now (although if we keep sticking 52 past everyone we shouldn't have much trouble)

Correct. Not a bad way of testing the strength of any teams who are looking to get promoted. Not perfect, but not the worst idea the RFL have ever had.

aye, i agree as it happens

downside being leigh could declare after another dozen wins and finish 4th

and be no worse off than finishing first?

unless theres some home advantage to be had?

also, the website i read up on, think its the official rfl one

duel registration - tut tuy

just comes across amateurish

Its normally straight to the ground for me as I drive but others who drink generally meet in the Peel Green (Rockhouse is a popular pub) part of Eccles and walk over. Getting away after the game, if you have parked at the ground, can be a pain though.

What's the best way from Manc City centre ?

depends on what time but I would come out of town via Regent Rd, come off M602 at Eccles and head down Liverpool Rd to Peel Green. Park there and walk to the ground from there or travel to the ground and park there.

I wouldn't go into city centre first.

Thats the best way.

Top two in Champ get 4 home games (as do 9th and 10th from Super League). 11th & 12th and 3rd and 4th only get three home games.

Dual reg is a farce that has got worse year on year. Works well with young kids. Less so when players with 200+ Super League games end up turning out.

Dual regs are to allow fringe super league players time to develop at lower league clubs and help lower league clubs with players.

It's a glorified loan system.

what it actually means is super league clubs don't have to spend a penny of their sky money on a reserves team but instead send them to smaller clubs to develop which pisses their players off who have trained 4 nights that week, only to be told the day before a game they aren't playing because Wigan have sent Charlie Smalltime down to take his place for the week.

Lacking discipline in a big way this season Wigan.

Leigh 64 London 12 tonight. Not seen such a clinical performance in years, top drawer.

has wane got some incriminating photos?

he talks like he never saw the insides of a classroom

gotta be on borrowed time

Reckon he might have got booked for doing that in football.

Good win for the Vikings today in what can only be described as a proper dull match

Oh fuck..........

Fuckin bouncing. Come on Leyth.

Beltin. Leigh v Salford in next round of the challenge cup.

Great test for us against a super league club, and a game they won't fancy.

Hock's got to get through 2 games without being sent off before playing us :-)

Will be a good game, i'm nervous...

Gay pile on?

I reckon a director should be able to get some upgrades :-)

You playing out tonight Big E?

I am there tomorrow yes. Big game for you boys having the Vikings in town

Yeah. The only place in rl worse than Salford.

Was like the village of the damned last year at your place.

I do hope they bring the drum..it adds such a lot to the atmosphere...:-)

We will probably bring more than you to be fair

Is your cock bigger than mine too?
