June 10, 201411 yr Just drive up the night before and set up camp on the car park.I like it when a plan comes together
June 10, 201411 yr I like it when a plan comes together I was considering buying a cheap campervan for next season actually. Because I live 35 miles from the ground, it costs me a fortune if I want to stay out for a beer after the game, either for a cab home or for a hotel room. I thought a campervan might be the solution. It wasn't too bad a few years back for finding somewhere to crash, when I still had some mates, but that's life.

June 10, 201411 yr Traf, I'm sure that DazBob would consider putting you up on occasion for the odd reach-a-round as payment
June 10, 201411 yr Any reason for that?lostock lane bridge, it's a train thing not a cost cutting exercise so Gartside can skim money
June 10, 201411 yr There you go again, putting facts before pointless speculation. That could have been a three pager.
June 10, 201411 yr a ) They're electrifying the line soon. Maybe this is the start. b ) They've reduced the train service through Bolton anyway. Oh, fook. Forgot the cardinal rule again. 'Facts, more facts ........ just stick to rumour & opinion.' Edited June 10, 201411 yr by Rembrandt
June 10, 201411 yr http://www.tpexpress.co.uk/travel-information/chorley-tunnel-works/ Forming part of the £600m investment in the North West's railway infrastructure, the line between Chorley and the junction with the West Coast mainline at Euxton will be closed between Saturday 19 July and Sunday 31 August 2014
June 10, 201411 yr It wasn't too bad a few years back for finding somewhere to crash, when I still had some mates, but that's life. Well if you came to the game more often folk might remember who you are
June 10, 201411 yr Well if you came to the game more often folk might remember who you are True enough. But it's a bit chicken and egg really. I started to question my expenditure on matchdays, so stopped going for a drink. Then I realised exactly how shit we'd become and how soul-less and demoralising the reebok was when you're sober. So I stopped going. Anyway, my point wasn't aimed at blagging a bed for the night off anyone. Far from it. I've got digs in Bolton if I need them. The last few occasions that I've turned out for the game and a beer afterwards, there's been no fucker about and I ended up going home anyway. All my old mates stopped going and aren't going back.
June 10, 201411 yr You and Anewman should meet up then and have a fucking good moan I've little to moan about nowadays, but thanks for the matchmaking offer.

That's a good point about going to the match without a drink inside you. Pity any adults in that position in the last few years.
June 10, 201411 yr That's a good point about going to the match without a drink inside you. Pity any adults in that position in the last few years. I go on the bus with a flask of whisky. Erm, I mean a flask of coffee with added whisky. Purely medicinal. As in, it stops me topping myself over the football quality or lack thereof.
Is being replaced by buses
