June 15, 201412 yr I can't see the Youtube clip either, it's not some Nationalist Socialst Black Metal is it? I'm not into that...
June 15, 201412 yr The day Nickelback make an album like '...And justice for all' then lump away... I can't help it. I lumped when I was a teenager and now I can never go back.
June 15, 201412 yr I've forgiven them the sellout and I'm glad, I went watching them a few years back and they played a lot of the classics from the first four albums, and the years have mellowed me and I don't think Metallica is the pile of popstar rockstar wank I once thought it was. When that came out, well there was a picture published of them wearing sunglasses, all four of them, and that was enough for me...Then again I thought Harmony Corruption by Napalm Death was a sellout! #themoreobscurethebetter
June 15, 201412 yr Fucking hippies. One of the best band around, I'm going to start hunting white, dreadlocked trustafarians. No one complained over Jay Z and his sexist lyrics. Start banning bands on politically correct grounds and you'll have Cliff Richard supported by the Nolans. This is because they aren't cool, not because if hunting and if this idiotic angry if Tunbridge Wells lot even bothered to do some background they'll realise that Michael Eavis is pro hunting so he's hardly going to be up in arms about this. And if you compare Metallica to Nickleback you have no idea about metal and I suggest you stick to the topics relating to dance music and move along, there is nothing for you here. 10000% this Enjoy Dolly Parton then fuck off to the couscous and hemp stage if you don't like it The same people who spunk over Glstonburys variety are the very ones pissed off because Enter Sandman might upset the local foliage and spiritual rocks. June 15, 201412 yr 'Exit light, enter night, take my hand, we're off to never never land.' Cheesemunchers! :-)
June 15, 201412 yr It's about being bummed by Michael Jackson. Either that or it's about smack, most songs are usually about smack.
June 15, 201412 yr 'Exit light, enter night, take my hand, we're off to never never land.' Cheesemunchers! :-) Ssshhhhh Copying blatant pro-hunting lyrics will upset the yoghurt knitters. Slayer are headlining next year, famed for their brutal necrophilia.
June 15, 201412 yr Every meat we eat has been shot....unless it's halal in which case it's throat was cut while a prayer was said... If you think transporting animals to abattoirs then shooting them is kinder than shooting them in situ I'll stand corrected Also you need to know the circumstances of the kill......overpopulation, roaming into towns, killing livestock..etcetera etc. all valid reasons for a cull
June 15, 201412 yr Ssshhhhh Copying blatant pro-hunting lyrics will upset the yoghurt knitters. Slayer are headlining next year, famed for their brutal necrophilia. There's hardly any hippies left at Glastonbury anymore. That's half the problem. Crusties and hippies have been replaced by pop music fans with their handy Sun festival pull out and their Cosmo guide to festival fashions. Give me cider, weed, poor personal hygiene and the Levellers over those twats any day!
June 15, 201412 yr I accept that animals will be killed either for food or any of the valid reasons that Fellman gives, but in a civilised country I'd hope that they would be killed as humanely & painlessly as possible, & not made to suffer to satisfy a backward religion & certainly not to provide sport or entertainment for some wanker. If said wanker wants to shoot at living things , he should join the army & take the chance of someone shooting back at him.

June 15, 201412 yr But Kent I know you are arguing from a point of ignorance, and you know not all metal is the same stop winding folk up for the sake of it. The background of the thrash metal scene is as diverse and divergent as the Chicago house scene. And if we're quoting lyrics some of your favourite music has the cheesiest lines ever. Sometimes that's actually what makes a song. Now stop being a wind up merchant about this or else I'll tell them all about how you thought Green Day were good and how you asked me to teach you the opening riff from Enter Sandman. He's just bitter because he never learnt how to alternate pick ;-)
June 15, 201412 yr If said wanker wants to shoot at living things , he should join the army & take the chance of someone shooting back at him. Or hang around an American high school.
June 15, 201412 yr I've got a flyer somewhere advertising Green Day playing at Wigan Bus Drivers' Social Club, supported by Dr and The Crippens and Bolton's very own Raging Kipper... They're fucking shite and no mistake but that's quite a journey, from playing to a hundred crusties and their dogs in Wigan to owning beachfront mansions in Malibu, and proof popularity doesn't mean something's necessarily good either.
June 15, 201412 yr Kent White likes Green Day I repeat Kent White likes Green Day Ha ha - Green Day were alright. And at no point did I ever ask Crawley to teach me the riff to Enter Sandman - I want that to go on record. I might ask my MP to raise it in parliament so it's entered in Hansards.
June 15, 201412 yr Yeah you did, that and Spoonman by Soundgarden. And that opening song on Gold Against The Soul by the Manics. And Three Princes by the Spin Doctors.
June 15, 201412 yr Oh and Linger by The Cranberries who I recall you described as one if the greatest bands of the 90s at the time. Second only to The Lighting Seeds if I remember rightly.

June 15, 201412 yr Green Day were alright in the last century Is it true they played the Crown and cushion around 92/93?
June 15, 201412 yr Green Day were alright in the last century Is it true they played the Crown and cushion around 92/93? Don't think so, the internet reckons they played Wigan in 91 and 93 or something.
