Prices in January are as low as they get so you should be able to stay in something really decent.

Take your red clobber....they love Scousers....

He'll get stabbed in the arse.

Which is probably why he's going.

Got back from Rome on Monday, if anyone going fancies learning how to make pasta and doing a bit of cooking and wine drinking, I can highly recommend going on the viator.com website and looking for the small group cooking lesson, it was superb

Aye, I can see loads off here going for that.

You're better off telling them where the Irish Bar is.

If you don't like it, you can always steal the hubcaps.

I know you and your lot like to play on those mobility scooters at weekend, but I'm far to cool for that, P. :D

Ryan, you need to become a student of the epitome of cool, son.

Trust me, they make good looking females moist. It isn't by chance that Mods have always got the best looking and horniest birds pal.

By the way, some learned types on here will have picked up on the underlying reason for posting that photograph.........................................

cos audrey hepburn is gorgeous?

Very true but I thought the film title may have some relevance to Ryans trip?

well aye, but you really are hoping for too much from red ryan

btw, i love that film

You must be insinuating that he votes for the serial squanderers? There's no fucking way this LFC cobblers is anything other than wind up material.

Yes, great film. Obviously, in scootering circles it is viewed with a certain fondness.

Going in Jan, decent prices.

Want to do all the touristy stuff.

Tours look the best way, some cool night walks too.

Edited by Pablo

It's a cracking city mate

We went early April and it was lovely, think it gets nippy though in winter so worth checking

I missed an AS Roma game but meant to be worthwhile

Top of the Spanish steps turn left for best views of city then carry on to villa borghesie park which is worth a visit

Colloseum can have 1hr + waiting times so go first thing or last thing (usually closes at sunset)

We found trestevere area was best for good food and drink

Take some decent footwear as you walk a lot, I've still not got over the heel damage I got walking round the place for the weekend early this year

Bob on, cheers la. Just what I was after.

Hotels look great too, favouring a roof top terrace bar place at the mo.

went in Jan this year, and there was no need for the tours or queue hoping etc

longest was an half hour wait to get in the vatican, which was fine as it was a nice day

make sure you go to the top of the vatican, thats an adventure itself, and the views are unreal

I think it's a few extra euros to go up in the lift, the rest you need to walk, it's ace
