White on Tyne Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Came out of a supermarket in a small village in majorca out in the hills a few years ago and saw a lad in the old burgundy away shirt. Started up conversation with him. He was French and i asked him how come he came about to be wearing a Wanderers shirt and he just shrugged and said he didn't reallly know. His mother bought it for him and he had no idea why. They'd never even been to England and had no affinity with us whatsoever. Maybe it was the burgundy. Quote
