frank_spencer Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 Fun weekend of gridiron coming up for me this weekend #2 Bama Vs #3 Georgia at silly o'clock saturday night should be a cracker. Fingers crossed for a dawgs win but not confident. Last 2 losses to Bama have come after georgia winning the the back up QB comes in and hands out a spanking. Then the Steelers 1st real test of the season in the form of the Browns. Normally win these especially with Rapey Ben at QB but the the browns are looking remarkably competent so far this year Quote
bolty58 Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Been a good weekend already for me Frank (gridiron football wise - not in others). Obvious that Trevor Lawrence from Clemson is likely to become a big name in the NFL. Been noticing a young QB at BYU called Zach Wilson. Has everything. Remember this name. Dismantling the Houston Cougars this morning with a very accomplished performance. Looks a natural who is heading to the very top. Quote

The Jets will be hovering around the main picks for a few years so any talent coming through will be quickly sniffed out Quote
Zico Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Bills host the Chiefs Monday Thought it was a very late one but checked and it's 10pm, so will be tuning in Quote

frank_spencer Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 Steelers kicking the Browns backsides, Mayfield benched/broken, Mapletron with another TD. Grand day all round. That 94yd Derek Henry run was a bit special too. Quote

I'd stick him in on the D-line for this goal line stand Quote
frank_spencer Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 Just realised the Steelers are off to Tennessee next week, 2 teams at 5-0 should be a cracker Quote
snowball Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 Ben 23-2-1 as starter against Browns. Until this season he had also won more games at the Browns First Energy Stadium than any Browns QB! Quote

Escobarp Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 Brady getting the better of Rodgers tonight. What a 2nd quarter performance that was. Quote
frank_spencer Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 This is peak Jets and peak Joe Flacco all combined in to one hilarious package Quote
Escobarp Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 Flacco has gone. Totally gone. Amazed they feel he’s a better choice than some others out there for back up to darnold Quote
frank_spencer Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 Ryan Fitzpatrick seems like the nicest guy ever, loved seeing him getting the small crowd all pumped up when Tua came on. Quote
Escobarp Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 Yeah he’s just one of them guys who loves his job. Has never been the most talented but does it with a smile on his face bills game tonight should be a cracker Quote
Spider Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 (edited) Flacco is shit. The offence is shit. The defence is shit. The coach is a swivel eyed lunatic. The owners are shit. And I support bolton My weekends are awful. Trevor Lawrence is likely to stay at Clemson until he’s 30 at this rate Edited October 19, 2020 by Spider Quote

Zico Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 I don't think the bills defence were expecting the chiefs offence to run with the ball Quote

Defence went to shit in the 3rd quarter Bills could've won it if the fumble call in 4th had gone their way Chiefs much better all round though Still, if can get back on track against Jets next week then beat the Patriots they should win the division All good in terms of progress, just not good enough yet Quote
Traf Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 Jets should be a formality and my lots showed how bad the Pats are last night Quote

They’ve basically turned into Man United when Rudolph left. Quote
