I need to get involved with NFL again, but need to choose a team. Was always a Dan Marino Miami Dolphins shirt wearing kid, but need some advice.

Which team is it worth following? Thinking about going down to Wembley to watch a game - anyone done it? Any help welcomed. Could just stick with the Dolphins and get tickets off Stub Hub for their game against New York Jets the day after the QPR game.

Which are the Liverpool/Man Utd of the NFL world to avoid?

Put yer fucking rod away

You're right that jets or jags won’t appeal, but the jets have been trading for strong picks all year and may be able to sell him the dream of building quickly.

If he stays at Clemson for another year, chances are it’ll still be the jets with first pick the year after anyway

Rod? Moi?

Pats need a qb as that African fella they’ve got at the helm currently just isn’t upto it. But we won’t get close to him. Pats will get progressively worse for next couple of years until they get chance to recruit a top one in the draft.

bar a dodgy fumble to gift 49ers their opening TD looked like a very decent performance from the Bills last night, great throwing game from Allen

Frank's Steelers up next, can't see the Bills winning, won't see them either, another 1.20am kick off next Tuesday, fuck that

Steelers have been shaky last two weeks. I can see the bills doing a job on them pal

Nah after the past few weeks if the Bills get more than 20 points they'll win easily.

Play calling from the OC has been terrible all season, the best play has come when Ben has been winging it in the hurry up with an empty backfield. Run game outside of the jet sweeps earlier in the season has been none existent.

Bills already lost to Cheifs and Titans (and Cardinals)

seems to me, when they come up against a team who've been strong for a few seasons and will more than likely be in the POs, they struggle - admittedly, that's based on results alone, my knowledge isn't so indepth

in any case, I think the AFC East title will go to last game v Dolphins

Steelers were poor last night against the football team.

Offense looked not much different than they have a fair few times this season.

Washington managed to keep the score down and Fichtner had no clue what to do.

Plus key defenders falling victim to the injuries they've managed to avoid for the rest of the season.

Tricky run ahead KC will get the 1 seed and play like they have in the past few weeks the fucking Browns will be division champs

Never really take that much notice of the Titans before now. Looking at the AFC could they be an outside bet? Their result against the Browns aside could they utilise their running game and be a surprise? Henry is an absolute monster. Browns set up well, playing a similar game, but put Henry up against teams that prefer the aerial game and aren’t that good on the hard yards on the ground. Could they sneak through?

Catching the ball might have helped too 😉

Big fan of college football for the entertainment value. The end of this one was mad!

Suppose you’re not used to being in prime time that’s the issue mate.
don’t worry you will be back to 6pm slots soon enough 😁

That was my point. Prime time America is shit time here and reserved for the better teams. Ive had years of it. Now I’m getting the same rub of the green as you lot have supporting shit teams. It’s quite pleasant really 😊

Imagine being Trevor Lawrence right now. Most heralded prospect ever. And heading for the jets and little he can do about it other than stay at school and hope there is someone shitter than the jets next year 😂

but he gets to go live in New York so not all bad I guess

They’ll build a Super Bowl squad around him.

They'll pay him more money than he’ll ever need and he’ll be a star in the greatest city on earth.

Better than just being an understudy to someone like Rodgers in some frozen, incestuous backwater like Green Bay.

And let’s be honest, getting one win would be considered an improvement next season so it’s hardly like he’s under daft amounts of pressure
