bolty58 Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Wow bolty!!!! Just caught up with the Packers/Cowboys game. That was brilliant from Rodgers Yes mate. I'm sure many other people consider him the best QB in the game. Packers have been blessed with great QB's over the years. I just hope Rodgers gets one of those big ugly rings which his talent deserves. That final drive was amazing and he has turned catching the opposition with 12 men on the field into an absolute art form. Quote
L/H White Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 watched it last night, he's so fucking good Quote
MancWanderer Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Chiefs still looking very, very good but I'd almost like the Packers to do it this year just to reward Rodgers for the way he pulls a team through games Quote
frank_spencer Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Chiefs still looking very, very good but I'd almost like the Packers to do it this year just to reward Rodgers for the way he pulls a team through games As the Steelers are going to arrowhead as underdogs this weekend it wouldn't surprise me if they won. At the minute I could see the Browns winning at heinz field. Quote
Escobarp Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Rodgers is someone I admire greatly. Shame the greatest of all time, tom Brady, in my opinion, isn't given the respect he deserves Quote

Nothing would surprise me in this league this year with the results so far but I can't see beyond the Chiefs keeping up their winning record. As for the Browns well it's got to happen one day!! Quote
MancWanderer Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Shame the greatest of all time, tom Brady, in my opinion, isn't given the respect he deserves Will always be tainted. Rightly or wrongly. Rightly imho. Fantastic player but took an active part in "stretching the limits" Quote
bolty58 Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 Traf's reet. Shame when you have that much talent but the taint will never go. Quote
frank_spencer Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 When you end up involved in 2 or 3 'cheating' scandals like brady and the pats have its definately going to leave a grey area over your history. He's still one of the best of all time Quote
L/H White Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 i got ropped into doing this nfl fantasy league bullshit this year i'm spending a couple of hours a week on it very addictive i need to grow up Quote
frank_spencer Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 (edited) Hoping for an LSU win in tonights battle of the Tigers. Clemson losing last night could really shake up the standings next week Edited October 14, 2017 by frank_spencer Quote
frank_spencer Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Also think Bolty would appreciate this gem. Quote
bolty58 Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 You'd be right Frank. Having worked for a Milwaukee based company for 12 years (left them in 2005), I still have many mates over there who attend the games etc. so see quite a lot of stuff like this. Even the labels they have for some of their opposition make me smile although one won't make you smile (Pittsburgh Sheila's). The Forty Whiners, The Viqueens, Gaytriots etc. They get it back mind with the familiar prefix to Packers etc. Quote

Although i've picked up the steelers vernacular for the AFC north teams, Ratbirds, Bungles and The Browns (they're comedy enough without needing a nickname) Quote
frank_spencer Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 LSU get the win after being 20 points down in the 1st quarter Quote
L/H White Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Boltys currently kicking fuck out of his tele Quote
MancWanderer Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Also think Bolty would appreciate this gem. Fuck me. Did the owner of the Cowboys break his leg, set up a chain of sports shops, and then buy a football team? Quote
L/H White Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Broken collar bone for Rodger's apparently Quote
Escobarp Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Well bolty there is always next year. Can't see them doing much without him Never nice to see a great player out for a long period. It's to the detriment of the game as a whole Quote
MancWanderer Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Nothing would surprise me in this league this year with the results so far but I can't see beyond the Chiefs keeping up their winning record. As for the Browns well it's got to happen one day!! Half time and the Chiefs aren't on it at all. Could be a big surprise here. Early second half and the Steelers are running right through them Rodgers earlier was a right shitter for the Packers Quote
Escobarp Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Cheifs always struggle with the steelers Arizona trying to throw away a huge lead here as well. Raiders look v poor even with Carr back Quote
L/H White Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Cheifs always struggle with the steelers Arizona trying to throw away a huge lead here as well. Raiders look v poor even with Carr back still playing with a fractured back tbf should be out for 6 weeks, only missed 1 week Quote
frank_spencer Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Even with that 4th down stand and a 2 score lead I'm not going to be confident of a win till it's time to take knees Quote
