Christmas Scam

Yet another Nigerian one doing the rounds.....

Letters through the door aimed at the old and vulnerable, saying you've won the lottery...blah blah bollocks and blah...

I think only Diddles on here may be so numb to fall for it, but the old ones such as MILFS,GILFS and G-GILFs may become suckers.

Let your elderly loved ones know so they don't become victims.

"Due to your daughter Lyra struggling at school, we are not able to offer coaching and classes to help her, ring......."

1) how do they have my daughters name

2) she's six, how far behind can she be..

its a company that does tutoring in warrington..Some parents would start to panic..

Some deaf and dumb bloke turned up at ours last night selling drawings of cats and stuff for £10 a pop.

You could easily kidnapp the cunt and keep him in your basement, pulp fiction style.

That's illegal under the data protection act.

That's illegal under the daughter protection act.

Its also the first ive heard about her struggling

Party organisers selling on details? Has she been to any? They'd have her name and your mobile number...

So that's how 'invitations' work for your lemon parties then is it?

You can't sell on any details unless third party boxes have been ticked for whatever it is you have signed up for, and under 16s have protection.

You need to speak to her school. They're the only ones who would know if she's struggling or not. Unless this really is a phishing text and they got lucky with her name; which I doubt.

Some disreputable, or unsecured or incompetent firms doing parties etc. might not be as fastidious with data...

I have a mate who once used a taxi firm back from a garage after dropping off his car, they refused to pick him up without a phone number, which he reckoned he'd kept hidden and not known to anyone outside a small circle for years...

Anyhow, more or less immediately he started getting texts from cash for crash type claims places.

He was adamant it must have been the taxi firm passing on details, jsl.

Well, as I say, it's illegal and you get a hefty fine for doing it - either passing on or using. In fact, third party use tick boxes are open to abuse and really shouldn't be trusted.

Time to change your passwords.

It's them fucking Sky box insurance fuckers that want daisy cutting into the afterlife, imo.

After telling them I wanted the insurance because it sounds fabulous and getting put through to the supervisor and him giving me the same speel, I then asked him straight after he asked me for my bank details should I take it out as my job is at Sky and to fix Sky Boxes and replace broken handsets free of charge. They wanna waste my time, I'll waste theirs too :)
