I wish I knew what was going on in this thread

What about this Casino

Not too sure about Tyler these days if I'm honest but this popped up on my soundtrack of 2017 and has a bit of summat going on.

Listen to Yonkers and you'll see what I mean.

I like the evolution of Tyler. He’s grown into a real artist and I can still go back and listen to bastard and goblin

Not my regular listen but the kids have it on and you should never close your ears.

Not my usual listening either but I do like this

Though prefer a bit of Gambino

Sweatpants is still belting

Gambino is exceptional. He’s an incredibly talented chap

Redbone is one of the best songs I’ve heard in years

Honestly made me laugh out loud that.

Deane how about a bit of this, mate once saw em at a festival and said he saw them do about 6 hours and he passed out, woke up and they were still going - apparently did 14 hours non-stop he claimed.

@ErnestTurnip just had a quick listen to some of their music on youtube. I like some of it. Is it shroom music? :)

At the risk of being picky, he’s been dead over 50 years. I’d say his chances of a 2019 release of new music are fairly low.

Picky is ok with me!

Unreleased material.

And wonderful.

Definitely my favourite album of the year.

Dogrel (Fontaines DC) is definitely up there for me, Sleaford Mods as well. Been loads of other good stuff out as well, might throw The Skints in with Swimming Lessons (hopefully will see them as they are supporting The Interrupters), Billie Eilish is a bit of a guilty one as well.

Kids have had a belting year with shit like Dave, Aitch, AJ Tracey that I've had on because of my commute, some of it I really don't like but a lot of it is really well done.

Anyone got any gigs lined up or a wishlist to see in 2020?

Hoping to see Stormzy if he tours. Specials, Nile Rodgers, The Strangles are the usual the suspects who I go to see nearly every time they tour.

Wanted to do Glastonbury for again but take the sprog with us but didn’t get tickets.

Thought I'd plunder Spotify for some new tunes - decided a good starting point would be the line-up for the Neighbourhood Weekender.

First up Pale Wales. Lasted 3 songs. Sounded like a shitty Taylor Swift.

Second up (and currently still playing) are The Sherlocks. Bit of a Courteeners rip-off. But will give them time.

Will take a look at Murder Capital and Inhaler after that.
