Yep, that’s what we’ve been talking about.

I see from the link I’ve provided that the scheme changed in 2005, how do the benefits differ? Is the military pension scheme contributory?

Nurses can also benefit from an occupational benefit scheme that caters for ill health retirement.

I’m still trying to get my head around your understanding, or lack of, we’re and were. I think it’s best not to take grammar tips off folk who can’t grasp them 👍

Again, bless you. You do give me a lot of enjoyment, it's like smirking at the thick sporty kid in school.

They love winning, even when everyone is taking the piss behind their backs.

Olive branch rejected!

Fair enough, I appreciate the honesty, saves me trying to be magnanimous.

Mooching through this thread on a Saturday morning is the equivalent to me currently about to clean a Blackpool town centre pub. Standing on broken glass, dodging blood splatter wondering what the fuck went down here last night :D

I know it’s the Mail but it’s also Andrew Neil so shouldn’t be dismissed lightly.

It’s a great article and on the money… for all I dislike the EU the last thing we need is this crisis on mainland Europe. For those in any doubt about the project this paragraph sums up what a shit show they really are.

Sadly, it is also par for the course. The political elites in Berlin, Paris and Brussels have always seemed much more outraged by Britain’s efforts to resolve the crisis over the Northern Ireland protocol than Putin’s atrocities in Ukraine.

Brexit gets their juices going more than Russian cruise missiles slamming into Ukrainian apartment blocks.

The Kremlin gets credit for freeing up some grain supplies this week from southern Ukraine. But Britain must get credit for nothing. In Europe’s hour of energy need, the UK is helping by sending electricity to the EU through the undersea transmission lines which connect Britain to the Continent.

And still the assortment of not rights on this side of the channel cosy up waving their EU flags, backing the EU stance on anything and everything and proudly adding FPBE to their twitter names. Utter cunts!!

France has borders with Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg and Andorra.

Quick check this morning and all those border crossings are flowing freely.

I just can’t figure it out.

It’s always been a problem when the French behave like, well the French. I think the Channel may have something to do with it also.

More bollocks from the Daily Mail. The UK helping EU with Energy. What they actually mean is the UK Energy Companies are selling Energy to Mainland Europe because Europe is a Customer and have contracts with UK Energy Companies, even before Brexit happened.

It’s an article by Andrew Neil. He doesn’t usually talk bollocks. Imo.
