maaarsh Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Their batting is nearly as bad as ours, so we'll still bowl them out often enough. But no team with Vince or Malan in it deserves to win a test. Quote

famouswanderer Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 (edited) Vince will nick off on 20 odd every innings. It will be a blinding 20 odd though Edited November 13, 2017 by famouswanderer Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Interesting little piece with Ali earlier. When asked about the pressure/sledging etc, he said simply, "the Australians like to talk and big themselves up..." and that it wouldn't bother him. Beginning to think there's a bit of insecurity behind them. Start well and their press/fans may well get on their backs. Quote
Casino Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 if i was ali id not be looking to wind em up Quote
Northender Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Still no BT offers? 30 quid sign up is putting me off if you don’t want to be tied to a 12 month contract. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 if i was ali id not be looking to wind em up Yep fair point, though he was quite matter of fact; didn't seem to be on a fishing trip. It didn't show much of the interview either to be fair so context could be lacking. Quote

Guest Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 An alternative take; We manage a draw in Brisbane. Cummins injured. Adelaide; ideal for our bowlers; win in 3 days Perth; lose Melbourne; win again. Sydney; Mo and Mason Crane spin us to victory Quote

Wanderers to stay up and England to win the ashes (or at least retain them) a presumably some money in that. Edited November 15, 2017 by Tonge moor green jacket Quote
Northender Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 If you have an EE monthly contract you can get access to BT sport via their app for free for 3 months. Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Bang on. Recalled a keeper who's not played a test for seven years, and isn't doing the job at his club apparently. Quote

Guest Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 Was he grumpy in a lift? No idea. Just his incessant anti-Pom stance with 5-0 every time. And then becomes Mr Nice Guy when he fancies it. Great bowler, mind. Looking forward to Jimmy passing his total. Quote
