January 15, 20188 yr I thought Affray was more than 3 peeps, could well be wrong though. Toodle pip you're right, but they might be counting the fact he was part of a group although the others were trying to break it up in the main from my memory of the video. presume the other two they are charging were the lads he twatted, as they seemed to instigate it, so a scrap between three people may be classed as affray. January 17, 20188 yr Author cleared to play good stuff odd that before he was charged he couldnt play, now he has been charged, he can Quite. At the outset the clear choices were: to continue to select him until any charges were brought, to suspend him until the investigation and any resulting court action were complete. What they have managed to do is neither. The only clear effect of their chosen course was to reduce the chances of performing well in the Ashes from moderate to near-zero.

He put forward a belief (not fact) that the ecb didn't want the storm and baggage that would have followed him had he gone to Australia. Moreover, that they had no idea of if he would be charged and if he would have to come home during the series. Thus it would be too disruptive if he had gone. I think now it has become a bit clearer, the ecb are happy for him to go; he's wanting to have his day in court to clear his name and they seem to be happy to go along with innocent until proven guilty. (if it's true)
February 25, 20188 yr What perplexes me is that he/not be guilty, but has let the team down, by being out late at night in the middle of a series and I don't think he's been punished for that

March 10, 20188 yr Nodded off when they were around 70 ish for 5. Was a bit surprised they got as many as they did. Good win all the same.
August 9, 20187 yr hopefully he gets sent down we cant be having dangerous folk like that walking the streets
August 10, 20187 yr Not going well at all for him. Will do well to avoid a custodial sentence if found guilty.
August 14, 20187 yr Very surprised at the verdict. What do you have to do to commit affray!? Great work by his defence team. Horrible on the video, over the top bully. But innocent as charged.
