The “mooen at #3” experiment seems to have failed

As it stands, Bairstow is going to have to do 3 and 4 with root, or else he's sitting watching

Would that mean 3 wicketkeepers in the same team?

England used 3 wicketkeepers in the warm-up match against the Board Presidents XIv All 3 batted and only one was out, so they ;averaged' 74.

Also used Stokes, Woakes and Foakes in the team.

Have we ever fielded a team including Hugh, Pugh, McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grubb?

285 all out

Certainly 60/70 more than we were looking at when reduced to 171/7.

Curran and Anderson 10th wicket stand of 60 with Anderson making just 7.

Curran smashing 6 sixes, could be a test winning innings.

He's rapidly turning into one of England's main men.

Stepped up tremendously well.

They'll put him number three soon...

Don't forget Jimmy continues to increase his batting average....
