Gamble paid off for Red Bull, fair enough.

Worked for Lewis in the past so you have to just accept it.

For me, there should be no pitting during safety cars and no tyre changes at a red flag unless race control allow it for weather reasons.

Just switched commentary on- not sure what merc could do differently, unless there was a definite feeling that the red flag would come out.

Seems that the red flag wasn't expected, and some questions as to whether a repair would actually be required, and whether it could be done under safety car.

Anyway, Lewis just has to focus on the job now. Leave the shit until after.

Within the rules though. Max got off very lightly with that first corner but did brilliantly on the 2nd start.
