well the interesting thing there is that a ban from playing means a ban from getting paid....could be summat to be said for that all round. Red card for violent conduct and the three match ban would mean you dont get paid for 3 weeks - end of. 9 months for not taking a drugs test means you dont get paid for those 9 months; BUT you could also introduce a rule which says that the salaries go into some sort of general fund for whatever. So the clubs loose out as well.
