Nearly...the one I'm thinking of had 2 racing blue & white stripes, one on each side.  It carried on down the shorts.

Bolton's had some ahem 'interesting' kits over the years, remember the white blue and red stripe anniversary kit?

I seem to remember Marco Gabbiadini could knock a few classics in too, though I don't remember him scoring that many.

Worthington's strike rate for us was pretty good something like 38 goals in 92 appearences so about 1 in 2 1/2.

How many pens?

The kits in 70s were more individual looking at them quarters, hoops and the cov and boro kits . York even had a big V in the shirt for some reason .

Think Bristol Rovers use to play in white and blue quarters many moons ago. Bolton use to play in chocolate and blue quarters in the early days (Not to mention the pink shirts with blue (?) spots).

Have an old subbuteo catalogue somewhere with some interesting kit combinations.

Oooh you bitch!!!, why aren't Man Urinal players wearing a large C on the front of their shirts then?,!!!

I remember buying the Norwich Umbro shirt from an advert in Shoot magazine.  Wearing a football kit in those days wasn't taken as allegiance to that club, it was just something impressive to wear for playing footie on the park instead of the usual t-shirts.  The West Ham and Coventry shirts were great too, in fact they all were!

I was a keeper from being a young lad right through til I gave up playing

Always wanted the Ray Clemence green keepers shirt. If not, then the dark blue Jim McDonagh one. Some keepers, including Clemence wore a yellow one. My mum bought me a kit from Tobutt’s for Xmas one year. It was a Wolves kit. Well it’s a yellow shirt.....

If it's any consolation, Burnley had a kit sporting a big fuck off V about the same time.

Think there may be a difference between a V and a chevron. Was it not just a V-neck?

It was the Chevron top.

It used to be that yellow keeper shirts could only be worn by people with a goalkeeper England International cap.

In the 70's for xmas, me and our kid got a football kit each for xmas, no badge on, just the kit colours in a flat box with the team name on, they were pretty shit, I got Liverpool and he got Wolves... I cant ever remember wearing the fucker, im hoping I burnt the fucker the following bonfire night, the same year I got a wig-wam and a cowboy outfit 🤷‍♂️

Remember the kit in a flat box but didn’t remember the team name being on it

Im not sure its true, unless we are talking for a short time after the early 70s

Green blue red or white only for league games

Yellow and black were allowed for internationals

Here’s another “rule” I recall from years ago... or I’ve dreamed it up.

Flags in the corners (and half-way line once upon a time) were to be a plain colour without any writing or logo except PNE who, because they won the first League Championship, were granted the right to display their club badge.

Anyone confirm or otherwise?

I liked that kit. The home RBK kit is my favourite BWFC of all time.

Think mine has to be the white umbro home kit from the late 70s (Either blank or the B. E. N. one) though there are a few kits from later on I like
