August 22, 20214 yr Enjoyed the drink in town and train in and out, it had the same feeling as an away game. Good times are back 👏
August 22, 20214 yr Great day yesterday saw loads of people I’ve not seen in years Not even the shite weather could have dampened it

We've gone on a learning curve with Evatt; having to be patient at times but witnessing the benefit and the rewards. Smiles everywhere- you were absolutely buzzing afterwards yesterday, a joy to behold, with spontaneous chanting all around. Life just seems better! 😃

Watching on the soulless i-follow didn't help, but our games were mentally draining upto at least January last season. Irrespective of results, and on another day we could have lost our 2 home games, but it feels like a relative has recovered from an illness. We don't need to worry about BWFC now, its recovered, its a positive and an energy giver instead of a mental drain.

Bollocks to money men wanting instant success and a long line of managers.

Yep, I think you’re right. However, I also think that it would be sold to somebody that the present board trusted and believed would be acting beneficially for the future of the club.
August 22, 20214 yr Fwiw, i might be naive, but i think sharons having too much fun to sell 'just for money' Oddly, i suspect MJ would probably be very happy just being a fan again

I hope so, they seem morally sound. 8 minutes ago, Casino said: Oddly, i suspect MJ would probably be very happy just being a fan again Same, I think he got involved because there wasn't much choice for him as a fan.
August 22, 20214 yr Very grateful/happy that MJ & co got involved and if the plan is to flip it, then it needs to be viable/attractive to a buyer, which will mean we're in a far better position than when they arrived.

Easier said than done; don't you think Eddie Davies wanted to do the same?

Fair point Traf, as is Steejay's Another possibility is that keeping within our means and still being successful may allow enough money to be earned for the owners to pay off any borrowings and still be here. All pie in the sky at the moment though.

August 23, 20214 yr Sharon ain’t selling. You don’t put all these foundations in place reconnect with the community , speak so proudly and show so much enthusiasm and enjoyment as a fan to sell in a few years Shes a wanderer now
Fantastic to see lots of people and bwfc on an up curve
