Next 7 Games - Predictions?

Last year I made a "Last 7 Games" topic, for our final run-in of the League Two campaign, as they were our most important fixtures of the season.

This time round, I'd argue that these next 7 games are our most important. We really need to climb the table this month if we have any hopes of achieving something meaningful this season (i.e. play-offs).

I know a lot of people won't even want to consider play-offs right now. But humour me in giving your predictions in what is going to be a season-defining month.

  • Morecambe (A) 21st Place
  • Charlton (H) 15th Place
  • Oxford (A) 6th Place
  • Burton (A) 10th Place
  • Wimbledon (H) 20th Place
  • Lincoln (H) 18th Place
  • MK Dons (A) 4th Place

I'll go first:

Morecambe 1 - 3 Bolton

Bolton 3 - 0 Charlton

Oxford 2 - 2 Bolton

Burton 1 - 1 Bolton

Bolton 4 - 1 Wimbledon

Bolton 2 - 0 Lincoln

MK Dons 2 - 1 Bolton

Feel like I'm being way too positive predicting only one loss from 7 games. But that's what I've come to... 14 points from 21.

Guessing that will put us in somewhere like 8th. Feel like there'll be some massive bullshit go against us as there always is, either a bullshit penalty, or bullshit offside and Burton and MK Dons to me seem like the most likely ones to throw that sort of thing up, not sure why.

Those last 4 games look favourable. A Doncaster, H Stanley, A Cheltenham, H Fleetwood.   Teams that are currently in Play Off positions. Last 4 games. 3rd MK Dons - H Sheff We

It would be classic Bolton for those last 4 games to go something like this:

1. Beat doncaster to go into the top 6. Everyone looks at the last 3 games and thinks EASY 9 POINTS! EI EI EI O, IESWA!

2. Draw with Accrington at home, but stay in the top 6. Everyone breathes a sigh of relief.

3. Lose to Cheltenham away, Charles gets sent off and Dapo goes off injured and we go level on points with 7th place only above them on goal difference.

4. Everyone shits themselves for Fleetwood at home but we smash them 3-0, Bodvarsson hat trick

Said a while back that we have some favourable matches to come. That said, relegation fighters can sometimes pose a greater resistance than might be expected.

Do Gillingham, Crewe or Cheltenham have shit pitches? I'm assuming yes but hopefully the weather is better than it was at Plymouth, Fleetwood, Morecambe and Burton

To get you more excited we have Oxford home 6th last.

We have to rack up serious points in 6 home games that sandwich our trip to you but hopefully Wigan and Dons won't have anything to play for by last two and Wycombe / Sunlan form continues south.

As Marc Iles says, only you have all the top 4 left to play. Sheffield have only 1. The rest 2-3. @green genie

Gillingham's pitch is ok from what i've seen on Quest. Not paid much attention to the other 2

Wigan play 6 of those 8 teams, their wheels could well come off!

Good to see if they would update this visual

I don’t think anyone predicted 13 pts from 7 Feb games at the start of this thread.

I predicted 12 pts, loads predicted 14pts.

Close but no cigar.

Maybe a ‘ predicted points in March’ thread?
