December 29, 200421 yr If he says he was caught in the eye, no one can argue. Big Mouth Sam and Rent-a-quote Speed have done him no favours. Sam has a lot to learn.
December 29, 200421 yr I watched the game on the internet so the stream wasn't the clearest ever, but by the time he did get up one of Tal's eyes looked very very red. I don't like exaggerating and cheating but I think Tal was shocked by the impact and felt a sharp pain in the eye so went down out of instinct. Yeah he perhaps stayed down a little too long but he's not a known cheat like others I could mention... if he is charged I think it is a little harsh and will want to see other known fakers regularly charged in future!!!
December 29, 200421 yr Right then so anytime a player goes down are they gonna get charged. This is the first time I have heard of this happening. How many other players have gone down like a sack of spuds and not been charged. It is a ragging disgrace and it seems the FA have got it in for us. Fair enough he was a soft red ginger but so what.

Which is exactly what Sir Red nosed bast*rd wanted! He's got to be joint top at kiddology alongside Wenger. Then there's Big Sam who gives the FA even more ammo to throw at Haim!
December 29, 200421 yr i still say fergy has a point but didnt wenger get fined recently for calling horse face a cheat? pots and kettles. like i said before, i hope fergy is reminded of his comments the next time one of his prima donners cheats.
December 30, 200421 yr We are challanging the charge against Ben-Tal now. Sam has come out and said what has he done wrong according to the rule book. The FA cannot do anything, as it will just open up a hugh can of worms!
December 30, 200421 yr Just been reading on the Sky News site, Gary Neville is getting involved now. Saying that the term "violent conduct" is a nonsense. He is also bleating on about Utd's England players being anal buggered, erm, sorry misread that, alienated.

He is also bleating on about Utd's England players being anal buggered, erm, sorry misread that, alienated. It's all part of the big plan for the United Board to run the FA. The FA will no doubt look at Utd's finances and business acumen and decide they're not doing anything wrong and we should all let them get on with it!
December 30, 200421 yr Can anyone remember a player who has been brought up on a charge for reacting to being slapped before? I can't .........what are the FA playing at?
December 30, 200421 yr It was a push not a slap. Rooney should have been booked and Ben Haim should not have fallen to the ground. I am all for dealing with the cheats who are ruining the game.
December 30, 200421 yr Ok Tony! Just for you! Can anyone remember a player who has been brought up on a charge for reacting to being pushed before? They could be making a rod for their back over this. If they give Haim a kicking, there are going to be calls for it ever time some nerk goes down in the box and gets a penalty without deserving it.

I am all for dealing with the cheats who are ruining the game. whatever it was, i think he did right going down if hed reacted in any way at all he'd have been red carded simple as that all he says is a finger went in his eye, physio backs him up, allardyce and gob on legs speed shut up jobs done
December 30, 200421 yr Cassie, you are 100% correct, finger in eye is the most obvious and believable reason, case closed. However, Dr Big Mouth Sam and Dougie Speed MD need to concentrate on themselves rather than giving their own medical opinions and deflecting attention from themselves. Speed has been here a number of months and publicly critisised TWO of his team mates already. I have never, ever seen that from a Bolton player before and coincidentally we haven't got a point since he opened his big cake hole. One more and it's time to pack up and fcuk off son.
December 30, 200421 yr I think Sam was just trying to stay on side of Fergwad so he can climb even high up his arse!
December 30, 200421 yr if Ben hadn't gone down, nothing would've happened at least this way Rooney get's shafted
December 30, 200421 yr if Ben hadn't gone down, nothing would've happened at least this way Rooney get's shafted Agree. With our season going tits up, at least lets try to fcuk up everybody else now! I still say there should have been a 22-man brawl. Something for me to justify paying ??30 on Boxing Day. One to tell the grandkids.
