Whitestar
What is the point of going to the to bother of putting a review on Trustpilot when they can pick and choose what they wish to display on their website. put on a politely worded but damming review and it gets taken down, put fake reviews on by anonymous posters with zero history praising a product or service and that's fine. Trust no one!!!. Edited December 15, 2022 by Whitestar
Ani
Companies pay people to post positive reviews to look good. They get 3 months of bad reviews then 20 good reviews in an hour and rating is ok

Wanderlust
There are a number of accreditation schemes and by and large they are useless because of their business model and the conflicts of interest between the Accreditors, the traders and the customers. The DBEIS-approved TrustMark scheme is the most expensive for traders as they have to have accreditation (usually through a pre-existing Trade Association membership e.g. NICEIC, ECA, NAPIT, Gas Safe, CRC, GGA etc) and hefty insurance to protect consumers but it's become a bit of a closed shops for the federations so although the quality of the accreditation tends to be high, geographical coverage isn't 100% and the tradesmen themselves, although being quality tend to be more expensive for the consumer.
