Big E Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 agree about him being player of the season. he seems to be getting better and better every game. one of only a few players playing with passion
Guest squidgy66 Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 agree about him being player of the season. he seems to be getting better and better every game. one of only a few players playing with passion Diouf was tha man of the mathc - yet again Tal in the back was a stalwart Haim is the player of the year so far in my eyes - yet again a defender for the whites
Traf Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 As one of Diouf's biggest critics last season: I'd like to be seen as being big enough and honest enough to hold my hands up on this one. At the start of the season, I'd have been happy for us to get shut of him, even on a free, to release some wages to entice a better striker. The guy has been a revelation so far and yesterday was just the latest in a line of outstanding performances. He has obviously been made aware that he's on his last chance and he seems to be making the most of it. Anelka will grab all the headlines for his goals yesterday, but Diouf's all round game was brilliant: he never stopped running all game and was everywhere. El Hadji Diouf: I salute you!
jolly-olly Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 I was wondering why Big Sam took him off because if there is anyone who can hold the play up better then Diouf to waste time then I would like to know who it is. He can take the piss in the corner flag if we need to hold on.
Guest Biff Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 I too could not understand why Diouf the best player on the day was taken off and to rub salt in the wound replaced by Vaz Te.
Carlos Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 the guy is obviously a total idiot off the pitch, but fcuk me sideways with a three foot piece of broccolli he is a ragging good player. I've got the broccoli, when are you in town again?
