It's a struggle to get hotels in Guimaraes, it ain't the biggest place in the world! Prob easier to stop in Porto plus will be less hassle after the game I'd think

I've noticed that the last train from Guimaraes to Porto is at 9.15pm. Surely the game will still being played then? So I'm assuming its taxi back to Porto. Anybody any idea how much it'll cost?

Hire a car at the airport, takes approx 2-3 hours (133 miles). Hertz costs ??130 for 2 nights, so only ??32.50 each + petrol if there's 4 of ya and less hassle than the train/bus except for the poor sod who can't drink!!!

I'll prob use The Mid Stay Car Park, 5 mins from terminal. Works out at ??7.50 a day and is secure as I've used then before.
