Rarely veer from really tart salt and vinegar but loving Pipers Chorizo crisps at the moment
  2. I’m not a big reader of The Sun so can’t really say, but would be interesting to know how their coverage of the Phil Schofield story compares to their coverage of this story. Would give a good idea of how fair the suggestion is of them having an anti BCC agenda
  3. Would love to know how many of the senior execs at The Sun and its owners have been involved in behaviour that is highly embarrassing but not illegal.
  4. Feels a bit spineless that The Sun can basically throw this out there without the name. Do they have enough evidence or not?
  5. Heavyweight division is a joke. Everyone waiting on this supposed super night in Saudi where we get to watch all of the best fighters - none of them fighting each other.

Tested positive this morning. I’d forgotten just how much it knocks you out
  7. I didn’t see the interview with the person who shot the video so this must have been a different witness.
  8. My best friend lives in Nottingham. Couldn’t get hold of him yesterday morning so I was flicking through the news channels to find out what was happening. Happened to be that GB News was the only station covering it at the time. Never watched the channel before and hopefully never will again. Presenters were pressing a witness to tell them what the suspect looked like. After a fair amount of badgering he eventually said that the suspect looked “darked skinned”. Presenters couldn't have looked happier.

Thanks very much. Hope your daughter is doing OK. Fingers crossed she can carry on enjoying her football somewhere else.
  10. Sorry I was being flippant. Tone never comes across well online does it? For me Pep is miles ahead of any other manger. Absolute genius

Sorry to hear your daughter suffered with OS too. Hopefully she’s found a way to manage it.

Thanks mate. My son was never going to be a professional footballer but he loved challenging himself at a higher level than his grassroots. More importantly he had made some really good friends who he loved spending time with. He was playing in what I think some clubs call their elite development team. He’s been offered a place in their standard development team where a lot of his grassroots teammates play so I think he will probably do that and will have a lot of fun. Just tough for him to take right now.

Found out about the realities of kids football this week. My son who is 11 has played with the same “pre-academy” team for 5 years. 2 nights a week of really hard work. Always in the top third of the group. Suffered from Osgood Schlatters growing disease this season so the club’s physio massively restricted how much he was allowed to play. Released this week with very little explanation after a less good season than previously. But still as good as many of the retained boys who weren’t carrying injuries all season. Had assumed he would at least have next season to prove himself again. Had no idea quite how hard it would hit him. Horrible horrible week
  15. Ederson Akanji Aké Rúben Dias Rodri Gündogan De Bruyne Stones Haaland Grealish Bernardo Silva How many of these would have been targets for Real / Barca / PSG when they signed for City?
  16. Whatever you think about the City money, you have to respect the way Pep runs his teams. Different class. He doesn’t allow ego. And that’s part of why he’s such a success
  17. Ferguson won with Gary Neville, Phil Neville and Nicky Butt
  18. This is why England never win anything. No way Messi or Ronaldo don’t take that chance.
  19. Very good shout this
  20. Teams are going to be in for some shock visiting Kenilworth Road next season.
  21. I don’t mind losing. But would have been nice not to have spent 90 minutes watching us pass the ball back to Santos
  22. Classic example earlier of what’s weird about tactics tonight. Bradley has the ball and the chance to drive forward. But for no reason at all he checks and plays the ball back. It’s like the players have been told that goals don’t count unless Santos has touched the ball.
  23. Just need to be more positive. Don’t want to lose having spent the entire half passing the ball between our defenders
  24. Is he George Weah’s cousin’s cousin?
  25. Well the only good thing about this is that it’s only 1-0
