  1. Anger management classes. They call it a soother.
  2. Well I just watched that and thought it was sh1te. Poll is fcuking useless and where's the passion? Like watching fooking paint dry. Predictable game, result etc. Christ, I long for the real football of the 60's and 70's. Nowty tw@ts like Billy Bremner and Tommy Smith taking no prisoners. Swaying crowds in Kops baying for blood. Pitched battles on the terraces. Complete sanitised sh1te these days.
  3. I might be slightly more 'mature' than thee me owd cocker. I can assure you that from around '67 through to '73ish, it was THE venue in Bolton for Atlantic, Chess, Stax etc., just as the Wheel was for Manchester. This was going well before 'Rare Soul' which became known as Northern Soul (although there was some overlap in the early 70's). The't reet about the battles. A bit like the Lever End in its day, nobody came to Bolton and took the Palais although many tried. Mancs and Salford mainly. Off the balcony at the back of the DJ was the main 'drop point'. Mad times and I often wonder how we came through it relatively unscathed! The tool of the day was the cut throat razor and the Palais was like a fooking carvery at times.
  4. Possibly, which then raises the question are head cases like WoohooJohn11 known as cockheads?
  5. Lucky bastud. Hotplate eh? Tw@ts had me eat a live one served on a banana leaf. I knew the fookers were winding me up. "Yer can't cook em they wither away to nowt" they said. Coonts the lot of 'em.
  6. Shirt? Look fooking silly in the back of a Ben Sherman. A man of my age applies simple logic. Why would Nolan want to downgrade from a fine club like Bolton to floundering basket case like Everton? More to the point, why did you?
  7. Now then Chim, up until now, you have seemed far and away the brightest of the Hammers who have been on here. Mockneys - pretend cockneys from Essex (the majority of your support?). For the record, I am expecting 1-0 to Bolton. Hopefully it will be Anelka scoring to shut that bloody Yatesy up
  8. Listen to the Stone Roses Jack. You are missing out big time.
  9. Cheers as - cheered me up no end did that. Met the missus at the Bolton Palais. Seen some rum dos in there over the years (often involving Mancs and Salfordians being thrown off the balcony!). Apart from the violence, it was also a good soul venue for a long time.
  10. I can guarantee you one thing Homer, you won't like Witchetty grubs. Other Abo/Aussie delicacies include mashed Bogong moths (tastes just like peanut butter with wings and antennae stirred in) and baked goanna (you guessed it - tastes like chicken). Witchetty grubs are served up live and have a sickly sweet taste. Marginally more desirable than a British Rail ham sandwich.
  11. Bleedin ell. I have been away 18 years and there are still knobspankers in England with communist sympathies!? Never has worked and never will work. Pointless pointing out all those red failures as we all know about them. The loony left never want to talk about that though. China has had to change tack to move forward and is only 'communist' in name. Suggest you get a one way ticket to North Korea or Cuba, Crawley. I bet there's millions of your beloved Muslims moved to those twin paradises. Then again, maybe not. Rather than exist on a diet of beans and couch grass in a crumbling hovel, they would rather come to capitalist countries and live on benefits paid for by the taxes of hardworking Brits like many off here. Instead of spending all that money fighting the war on terror, we would be better served by spending a fraction of it exporting all muslims to Afghanistan and asianstan and giving financial support to the Taliban. They get what they want. We get what we want. The primitive tw@ts would be so busy executing adulterers and women who flash more than an ankle that they would have no need of a campaign against the West.
  12. Cheers mate - got it that time (even though I am as pissed as a rat after a full day of free booze). We got done again. Academy team + Monty, Liam Plunkett and Alec Stewart. Posted a competitive 8/259 but got blown away. Some photos to follow. Monty did OK but a bit expensive at times. Didn't stop me winding up a few Aussies though!
  13. One doesn't have a clue what one is on about?
  14. Reet then cocker. Ah'll be posting some photos from Lilac Hill late toneet. Ah'll si thee.
  15. 8-15am - things are looking up. Sun broken through - Lilac hill a definite goer. Come on Monty! Only downside is that they are predicting a chilly 28 degrees Celsius. Can't have everything going your way I suppose
  16. Fooking 'ell Jay, yer right! The bastuds are starting to get to me. Got to get back to Bowton soon for some 'realignment'.
  17. Oi, JayJay.......google 'slippery slope' This is how it started with uphill gardeners gaining acceptance. The filthy tw@ts used to hide away and do their sordid things in private and never a word was said. Now the coonts parade on the streets and are in the courts seeking the same rights as normal heterosexual couples. Burndens Bogs is right to raise this issue. Just one more yard down the slippery slope.
  18. 1) BWFC support will get you a reprieve. Personally, I would send you to asianstan or Afghanistan. 2) With you on that one (by the way, how 'tolerant' are the Islamic tyrants you seem to sympathise with?) 3) ......and have since, apparently, gone Barking mad. 4) The most important point you have made. You couldn't do that under the fooking Taliban.
  19. Nah mate, I posted that at about 6-30am. Up every day at 5-45 for a 45 minute yomp.
  20. Day off work today to go and see Monty Panesar weave his magic against a 'Presidents XI' at the picturesque Lilac Hill cricket ground in the Swan Valley just north of Perth. Superb day every year. Sell out crowd. Carnival atmosphere. Free top shelf turps and food all day. Guess what? It's fooking p1ssing down. Sick to death of this Perth weather
  21. Who said they hated Bananarama on here recently? Military coup just happened in Fiji led by Bananarama. Who'd o'thowt?
  22. My reponse to a) Maybe not but it's a fooking good bet it would like to (can't tell the sex in that fooking monstrosity which reinforces womens subservience to men in their primitive society) My response to Utter fooking bollocks. Getting into the realms of treason there. The Queen belongs in England and has centuries worth of antecedents to prove it. The other fecker belongs somewhere nearer to the equator and does notgive the impression it has assimilated into English society at all.
  23. No move. He's staying. You're deluded.
