Santos signed as 19yr old for Peterboro and made over 60 appearances in League 1 before being sold by to Barnet at 21 for £100k. Peterboro have a good track record of buying cheap and selling on.
Not sure why he has been festering at Barnet for 4 seasons but clearly can play at higher than L2. Presumably Evatt thinks he can improve him more and so far he has been right. Nobody will be spending money in January 2021 though. So he might as progress with us for now.
Sunderland at home on a Tuesday night. Won 1-0 with Zach Clough's helping hand but they dominated possession and 3-1 home deafet to Preston at the end of the month when it was even colder.
I get electronic access to all the papers through lads uni. Most of them don’t cover L1 & L2 at all. Pages of shit about scousers, mancs and cockneys regardless of whether they have played or not.
FLP has Crawford as MoM today. Decent finish but writer must have been at a different game to me.
In Big Sam’s column in the same he says things are finally looking up for us - incisive comment.
With better players around you could see a Ist team squad role for Taft, Darcy, Isgrove and Miller
Hickman and Mascoll I'll reserve judgement on.
Greenidge, Gordon, White, Comley & Crellin should not be seen near the squad again.
Atmosphere at the game tonight would have been electric.
There would have more than a few grown men taking the piss out of Neville to his face if we had all been there.
Great track record. From the BBC
The Cheshire-based lawyer was handed a ban after issues arose during an attempt to buy Charlton earlier this year.
Farnell subsequently appealed against the decision and the ban was withdrawn, although he did serve a five-week disqualification period which ended on 14 September.
Farnell was previously involved in talks over the future of Bury and was briefly a director at Wigan.
