  1. Lincoln mate just texted me. Rotherham a big physical side who closed them down and should have won by 3 or 4 tonight. Should be an interesting game Saturday.
  2. Rotherham United can confirm that Saturday’s trip to face Bolton Wanderers is now an ALL TICKET fixture. The Millers travel to the University of Bolton Stadium on Saturday, with away supporters now unable to purchase tickets on the day of the game. The Football Club have also had correspondence from Wanderers that their will be no extra tickets, should the initial allocation of 1,881 tickets sell-out. Current ticket sales stand at 1,120*, so we would like to advise supporters wishing to attend Saturday’s fixture to purchase tickets as soon as possible to avoid missing out *Ticket sales are accurate as of 15:30pm on 14/09/2021*
  3. Article about him in the Business section of The Sunday Times yesterday. He's making millions through his fashion business. Says numerous managers including finally ours (Parky?) told him it was football or fashion. Still only 29. Started out in mens fashion but says women buy more clothes and are "experimental" so makes all his money there.
  4. Crawford been talking to the local paper in Scotland about his mental nightmare here. His Misses is doing the same over Twitter as well. Claims he was the fall guy last year in the poor run at the start of the season. https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/sport/football/st-johnstone/2525078/ali-crawford-st-johnstone-midfielder-turned-to-mindset-coach-as-bolton-nightmare-unfolded/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social
  5. Non League and more no-shows. Still no sign of Reiss Greenidge at Barnet and Luke Hutchinson is still out. Lancaster lost 1-0 with Matt Alexander in goal, whilst Jay Fitzmartin started for Stalybridge but they continued their winless run and he was substituted after 66 minutes.
  6. League update first Again no game time for Politic as Port Vale won at Swindon. He was on the bench so presumably reasonably fit, but unless he gets some time on the pitch he's never going to get match fit. Slightly worrying, and given that IE has said that we aren't improving his contract offer, you wonder what the future holds for him. He'll always be a favourite here for his efforts in 19/20, but at the moment we are moving on as club without him. Time yet I suppose. Ronan Darcy has agreed his contract but agin no game time at Sogndal yet. They play this afternoon but he's not in the match day squad. Ali Crawford played 85 mins for St Johnstone against Rangers yesterday. Former White Michael O'Halloran put St Johnstoe 1-0 up but Gets came back to win 2-1. O'Halloran seems to have been round a long time but is still only 30. 33 goals in 267 games isn't a great return for a forward though.
  7. No Sheehan in the Wales 23 tonight. Best not come back crocked.
  8. Holmfirth but just found out the 5/11 date has been put back to June 22 FFS. Like @embankmentalso got Mason's Saucerful of Secrets. Also Yes and Crowded House in May & June 2022.
  9. Del Amitri Steve Hackett Billy Cobham Wishbone Ash Robin Trower Rick Wakeman All to fit in before xmas. Owe my mate for tickets for all, expensive few months. Got Ozzy early next year (finally) if he survives the dead pool.
  10. Bryan looked as if he might have a bit of pedigree but the others no thanks.
  11. Quick round up of tonight's non league action. Jay Fitzmartin was on the bench for tonights Stalybridge Celtic league game at home to Basford Utd. He came on for the last 30 minutes but Celtic went down 2-0. Matt Alexander was in goal for Lancasters home league game v Warrington Town. He was beaten by a 2nd half header as Lancaster lost 1-0. As mentioned earlier in the thread ex-Trotter David Norris plays for Lancaster and made his 700th career appearance tonight. - he was substituted on 70 minutes. Luke Hutchinson is still out injured for Atherton Colls, but Colls won their cup replay 3-1 tonight to progess to the next round.
  12. Thanks. Knew I'd forgotten one! Another brace for Proctor - goal machine.
  13. No games for Darcy and Crawford this Weekend due to the international break. Still no sighting of Greenidge in Barnet's match day squad. They lost anyway and have had poor start to the season. Early days but they are in the relegation zone with 1 point. Think they also have financial problems. Suspect we are paying lhalf of Greenidges wages. Luke Hutchinson sat out Colls 1-1 draw with Bridlington in the FA Cup First Qualifying Round due to the concussion protocol. Matt Alexander kept a clean sheet in the same competition for Lancaster in their 1-0 win over Northwich. Jay Fitzmartin played the full game for Stalybridge in their cup game but they lost 1-0 to Colne. Stalybridge fans not happy with their manager and his long ball tactics.
  14. Stand at the start of escalators looking at it for 5 minutes before getting on, then when they step off, stop immediately looking around the floor while everyone behind them piles into each other like a set of falling dominoes.
  15. Jay Fitzmartin has joined Stalybridge on loan. Seen him a couple of times this season, lots to learn. https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2021/september/-jay-fitzmartin-joins-stalybridge-celtic-on-loan/
  16. Presumably a few weeks out if concussed.
  17. Hopefully a couple more out open loan tomorrow who we don't need to follow. Although Crawford was impressive before his injury, but not the same player since.
  18. Thanks to @RoadRunnerFan for reminding me that Reiss Greenidge is also on loan at Barnet who are managed by Harry Kewell. As it happens he hasn't yet featured in any of Barnet's 3 National league games yet. Not even a squad place.
  19. Just checked and so it was. Still in, but will have to rock up at the U21 game now.
  20. Greenidge is so memorable I forgot he was here/gone. Will add him to the list but he hasn't been in their squad for their first 3 games.
  21. In, but got to get free ticket tomorrow first. Expecting Tutte, Gilks, Gordon, Brockbank, Kachunga, Senior, Thomason to be in starting 11. No Crawford or Comley. Is Greenidge still here? Aimson on the bench.
  22. Luke Hutchinson was in goal for Colls 2-0 defeat by Morpeth Town yesterday beaten by a header from a corner and a penalty. Matt Alexander kept a clean sheet in Lancasters 3-0 win over Mickleover. Tomorrow they come face-to-face when Colls host Lancaster in a bank holiday fixture. I know there are a few Colls fans on here, so if anyone goes it would be good to hear how both of them perform.
  23. No news on a new contract here either.
