  1. I forgot my ticket so had to pay to get in, thus making it £40 to see us lose to a League One team. Brilliant. Zat Knight played for England. How this happened I have no idea. He's an embarrassment
  2. Don't want to put a dampner on this but I'm going on Saturday and my two previous Dougie games were Barnsley and Brighton, in which we were shite. So I apologise in advance for the turgid 1-1 draw
  3. If they beat Bradford then I fancy Brentford away. Three reasons: 1) You can stand up in the away end. 2) There's a pub on every corner of the ground. 3) I live 2-3 miles away
  4. The Corner is an excellent read, you end up forgetting that it is documenting real life. The Rebus books by Ian Rankin are personal favourites, I also got into reading James Ellroy. Even though he. Writes sentences. Like this
  5. Agree with Garrp, great place to live. No Tyldesley, but still pretty damn good
  6. Got into my house in east London at 4.15am. I was leathered
  7. My dad used to park at Stanmore and we got the Jubilee Line down to Wembley. You might be best checking that the Jubilee Line is running that day first though. PS Can't remember how much it cost
  8. Deano at Wembley Carling Cup final (getting a train back to Sheffield with a train full of non-celebrating Boro fans was surreal and sickening) United equaliser just after Sir Les made it 2-1 at the Reebok The Barry Knight Rioch leaving (the manner of it, I was 11 and didn't realise that he would actually just fuck off after getting us up) Aaron Wilbraham scoring just after we'd come from 3-0 down to make it 3-3 at Stockport
  9. It is strange the way they decide minute's silences though. I'm sure I've been at games at the Reebok where there were silences for Martin Aldridge and Jimmy Davies, two young footballers who died in road accidents but had nowt to do with us whatsoever. Also, wasn't there a Premier League-wide one for Ken Bigley? His death must've been tragic for his family an' all, but just being from self-pity city shouldn't automatically mean a minute's silence
  10. RIP Nat. How he was never knighted I don't know. He was, is and always will be Bolton Wanderers. Let's do him proud
  11. I haven't been to bed yet. Today is going to be a write off. Just hope they can do it in next 20 minutes. Brilliant bowling and fielding
  12. Just answering the question, that's all
  13. Elmander against West Brom. Three days ago (four depending on if you read this in the morning) HTH
  14. Bar two days in Perth (and maybe the first in Brisbane) we have been so much better than Australia it's almost embarrassing. Fucking brilliant
  15. He looks all kinds of rubbish. I'm tempted to stay up til 6 then reassess
