It does matter what Megson thinks he is worth, what he is worth to Bolton Wanderers - not other clubs. If Megson values him at ?15 Million and no other club values him at that price then he remains at Bolton Wanderers. Unless, of course, we need to repay some of the debt.

Staying up represents success for the vast majority of premiership clubs. Not sure what we have spent in comparison to other premiership clubs in recent years but would have though it was lower than a lot of clubs, especially when the sales of Nolan and Anelka are brought into the equation.

Don't know much about this guy, my mates a Hull fan so I asked him. This is what he said: Yeah I do. He's solid. Paul McShane kept him out of the team until Sunderland recalled him but then he had a great run in the side. He's a tall fella and likes to run up the flank like Ashley Cole or Roberto Carlos but that's where he lacks the talent to really make an impact in the Premiership. Don't get me wrong he can cause problems for opposing teams when he goes forward and he's reliable at the back. A good wing-back.

If true I think its a great signing to Partner Cahill. Add that to the players we have already signed and the players we are supposedly on the verge of signing and a sudden sense of optimism has taken over me!
