I think Steinsson is viewed with rose tinted specs by some, he was to blame for goals last season and I believe Ricketts is better going forward, not a huge amount of difference when defending but I think Ricketts is slightly better. Although Gretar often had SKD backing him up, it's not quite the same when playing infront of Chung Yong but that's just my opinion!

I think he was taken off as the game was gone, he played midweek so Meggo decided to give him a rest but I agree with the majority here, he's vastly improved, I just wish we could say the same about Elmander although some feel he played OK yesterday.

Of course I've noticed the change, I said some people go on about his style, I don't believe we were any more defensive under Sam than we are now, at times it's a case of needs must in terms of how we play! And to be fair when we were supposedly playing defensive football (and whether we were or not is up for debate) our record for conceding goals still wasn't great! Some of the so called "fans" blame there non-attendance/painting bed sheets on Megson's "defensive style". My point is that I don't think we've ever been that defensive under Gary, some fans just want to moan!

I do think we can get a goal or two but our defending is pretty poor. Considering Megson bought 3 defenders in the summer, 1 of which he's already had to drop it baffles me as to how people go on about his defensive style! Tomorrow, 2-3, late winner for them
