I quite liked him and wanted him to do well. A young up coming manager with new ideas could only have been good for the club. Then came his public slating of his players, a similar situation to what Browny did when in charge at Hull at half time during their game at Man city. I recall a similar situation when Allardyce had taken over. Some of Sams signing were laughable, John O'kane and Farrely, although Farrely turned out to be better than O'kane. I enjoy watching Rugby League. Pity my local club have been in the wilderness for years but one day I recon they may well end up in super League. Been to several Warrington games over the past few seasons and not seen a bad game. It is far more exciting than any game I have witnessed at the Reebok of late. What annoys me are players like Knight who's on bloody good money each week. His efforts are no where close to anything that justifies his earnings. Same can be said for a few more. I'd rather see some young lad putting in effort regardless of the result. Most clubs in this league higher than us have some youngsters n their team mixed with a blend of older heads. Either our lads are too young or simply not good enough. We cannot continue with this side week in week out, were gonna lose more than we win, something has to give way.
