  1. Kinell. Meat, spuds, onions, stock and thickener. Suet, flour, water. Piece of piss. Red cabbage too.
  2. An old work colleague, as a youngster, would get the brewing up job. One of the blokes continually put his cigs out in the empty mug and left them in. Pissed me colleague off no end, so he made the cunt's next brew with the dimp left in!
  3. Yep. Got divorced eventually on the back of it.
  4. When I worked in the chemical industry, a visiting young lady once told me to make coffee with deionized water as it was a revelation. Never have done, dunno if it works, but certainly sounds plausible.
  5. https://twinings.co.uk/collections/tea-experiences Anyone done a tea tasting session?
  6. Had teapigs stuff once- may have been a present. Stevie, replace those fancy buggers with bog standard bags that happen to be of similar size/shape and see if she notices, perhaps spray a little pot pourri refresher as well. Anyway, I've emailed the yarkshire gits, and asked why I can't get decaf loose. Will report back.
  7. Used to use solvent (methylene chloride iirc)! Not now. Similar to how you remove an e from coffee.
  8. It is, that's the problem. Moreover, can't get decaf- which I moved onto after epilepsy diagnosis- loose.
  9. Seeing a lovely looking young woman within a family group, and thinking her mam looks a bit of alright too.
  10. Remember a little while back when plastic in tea bags was in the news? Out of curiosity, I went onto Yorkshire Tea's website and found a load of information about how they've got rid of oil based polymers and are now using plant based PLA, polylactic acid. Can now be degraded in industrial composting facilities, but not at home it explained. Got me wondering, so found this: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.3dnatives.com/en/pla-filament-230720194/amp/ All is not well in the world of tea bags. Really are fucking ourselves over! loose tea from now on.
  11. Some controversy around that one, about where the money went or something. Camera ones I've enjoyed. Olympia, Manchester, Bolton, Bury, Bishop Auckland. Maybe more, can't remember now.
  12. When does it arrive? Will we be promoted beforehand?
  13. Kinell, went when it was at the silverwell centre. Howcroft too. Don't recall the rugby club.
  14. Maybe not so canny according to the beeb. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-58632681.amp Going to affect lots of folk everywhere.
  15. Next generation.. Anyway, Saturday would have been a bit of a shit atmosphere irrespective of numbers. A disappointment all round.
  16. Staggering figures aren't they. $300bn of debt is bigger than the national debt of Ireland.
  17. Good time to produce your own I reckon. Soon be millions unemployed, all looking for something to alleviate the boredom. As the government has now done a deal with the fertiliser company, the opportunity to get into co2 production has now gone. Boo.
  18. Well, I've recently been instructed the re-start my wine production facility. As such I've got a few bottle's worth on the go, but it's not going to be ready any time soon. Missed a trick, though it does need the season to produce its bounty first.
  19. Yep. Doesn't take too much looking for. https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/hu/MEMO_16_310 A plan from 2016 covering EU's plans for gas. Absolutely fine, no problems, however they've been stuffed like anyone else. As for our gas, we get it as lng via ships, from our own fields (40%) or from pipelines which run through Europe from Russia etc or direct from Norway. https://www.energy-uk.org.uk/our-work/generation/gas-generation/gas-supplies.html Seems eu as a whole produces a similar amount of its own gas to us, around 40%. So we're all importing the stuff and are subject to the vagaries of doing so. Just learning that one of our problems has arisen from the old "rough" field no longer being used by centrica. Heard yesterday it had been leaking, but it also apparently had a fire. In the end centric dropped its use as a storage facility. As a commentator just said, "I'm sure they're regretting it now" Whether they reinstate it who knows, but it's not going to alleviate current situation.
  20. Septics to continue jeering on European shots? Poulter to wrap his club round a fan's neck, a massive brawl to ensue, and boris/Biden to have a straightener in the oval office as they watch the rumpus unfold. Aukus gets scrapped as Biden suffers a heart attack, and Boris sent to Guantanamo. Golf resumes after a week's delay whilst wounds heal and Europe win by a point with poulter sinking the winning put.
