Aye, we did. Despite his inclusion though, in my opinion. That's the team game - the strength can carry the dead wood. Doesn't mean he wasn't sh!t though, which was my sole point.

I've seen enough of Davies to be convinced he'd do an absolutely fine job on the right. He's got a good footballing brain, two feet and has a trick or two. We could do worse than have a few players like that in our team - it's only going to support keeping the ball moving and playing to feet. I also think he could do a job in the middle in the mould of Wilshere etc., but needs to improve in the physical aspect of the game. Will turn out to be a real good 'un, given time IMO.
