Your not fragile much are you? Rhetorical question!
-
I never said wways was unrepresentative. My comment was surprise that so many are negative after a generally good season by BWFC standards. I fully accept that this view is expressed by a proportion of our fans but I would suggest that some of them will never be happy! As for your own state of mind I think you have pretty much confirmed what I originally posted, I find this strange for a moderator of a fans website!
-
We don't even like ourselves.
-
If that is a response to my post then I also don't read other sites but I pick up the vibe at the match. IMO fans have unrealistic expectations which translates to negativity on web sites. I always find your posts strangely subdued rather than negative as if you stopped enjoying the matches ten years ago. No one is asking you to be overjoyed after losing at home to City but why the sly remark about OC?
-
I never cease to be amazed by some of the negative posts on here. Bolton fans seem to come in three camps, glass half empty, glass half full and never bloody happy whatever's in their glass! For me it has been a progressive season, we have steadied the ship and produced some much improved performances but ran out of steam at the end. I'm sure OC is under no illusions about how hard it will be next season for a variety of reasons. There is now a lot of work required to improve squad strength and replace the outgoing 7/8 players with one of the smallest budgets in the league. Not easy but I think OC is upto the task. COYWM.

I don't mind Nugent or Bothroyd but not both.
-
There is very little between all the bottom half sides. We have been slightly more consistent than the relegated teams but they still have a few good players. I would definitely take Johnson, Ridgewell or Gardner as they could all improve our squad. If you think we should be aiming higher then fine but this is a realistic shout.

He is the best I've seen without doubt. Very calm and always well placed (apart from penalty shoot out against Chester which I think was his only miss).

You'll be waiting a long time for a sensible answer from that poster.
-
That's him. Thanks!

No I remember that game and that clumsy forward but the one I'm thinking of was proper pants. I don't think he had played the game before.
-
No this guy made a bizarre cameo from the subs bench for just one game I think. He was only a loan signing and it was the season before Diawara.
-
He plays in the Mexican second division I think but the bottom fell out of the deal at the last minute!
-
What was that geezer called who came on as sub and looked like he'd never seen a pitch before? Round about 2000/2001 possibly promotion season? Now that was an odd one!
-
Maybe but OC has to do what is best for BWFC not Jussi. There is also a chance that this competition may bring the best out of him!
-
This would me my preferred option. This way OC gets to see first hand which is his best keeper (if he doesn't already know) and Bogdan gets a full season which is what he now needs!
-
good post. At least OC should now be absolutely clear about what he needs to do in the Summer starting with a good defensive sort out.

A pyschologist would have a field day with you. Have you tried anti-depressants?
-
Mine was a 1939 derby at Burnley 1-1. Really good atmosphere that day despite the war starting a few months earlier. Harry Goslin was excellent as usual. Strange thing was we played in Claret and Blue if I remember rightly.
-
Jussi has got a good four years in him yet!
-
Fair play to them. They have come a long way since Colchester did them 7-1 on the opening day of the season two years ago. Lambert is a top manager in the making as well!
-
Thats useful if you're sat in the first few rows. It wont hurt as much when it lands on your head late in the game when we are trailing 3-0.
-
Nonsense. Over the course of the season we have been superior in central defence (Cahill/Knight versus Alcarez/Caldwell is no contest). Our first choice central midfield has also been more consistent (Muamba/Holden versus McCarthy/Watson/whoever). We have also supplied them with their goalkeeper who is one of their best players. I will give you NZogbia, Rodellaga and Cleverly but you are joking to suggest the main difference is the manager.

Anyone Sick Of The Stoke Love In
gudnisson replied to RUREADY2ROLL's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
Yes. For example some nob throwing a broken seat onto fellow Bolton fans further down block 544 after the 4th goal. This hit my 10 year old son and left him crying with a sore head but could have been much worse. I feel ashamed that they are associated with my team. -
They could get two pitches in there and let Orient and West Ham play at the same time.
