Question gets asked every year, So I thought I may as well start it now. Off now til next Thursday 13th (half a day) then working all day Friday 14th, Finished then until 2nd January.

Went to see From the Jam last Saturday who did a quality set, with loads of new stuff including tracks from Bruce Foxton's new album Back in the Room, Which features Paul Weller playing on three tracks, and also recorded at Paul's studio. Since Bruce's wife died He and Paul seem to have got a lot closer and both have now featured on each others projects. they've Also done a couple of gigs together (one at the Albert hall & one for a local charity in their former home town in Surrey). I don't think The lads will ever get back together as a threesome to write and record new material under the old banner. But I wouldn't in the least bit surprise'd if Mr Weller and Mr Foxton (including Rick) did some live gigs at some point in the future?. More likely both appearing as guests at each others gigs. But a full jam re-union concert? I would pay good money and walk to Wembley stadium or were ever they may be to see it. Can't believe it's been 35 years since In The City was released.

Too few to mention

Don't have any Kids and neither any close family left, So no real preference for either Christmas or New year. Will be cruising around the Canaries and North Africa from the 21st and back just after New year. Nice to get away for some winter sunshine. Can't wait.

Good couple of hours TV last night. Agree with Bolty Weller/Jam Top draw. Off to see From the Jam 1st December in Clitheroe (3rd time iv'e seen them) OK not the same without Weller, but Russel Hastings on vocals does justice to the songs. Foxton is still quality on bass. Go see them if you like the Jam, It's always a sell out and great to hear all the old tunes.

Trading in my Lambretta for a push bike, and growing out me burners. Already got plenty Mod cloth, so a head start on the rest of the wannabe Wiggo's. On a serious note I ran my first ever 10k on Sunday in York on behalf of the Bobby Moore cancer fund. Managed a time of 1hr 1 min and 27 sec. Think Mo Farah can rest easy.

Thanks for your support of the Giants over the whiners. I have only one least favorite team and that's them boys from the city of (supposedly) brotherly love?.
