  1. God bless you Bolty, chance of a meet up at Wembley? We are going up! šŸ»
  2. Come on Wanderers, now is the hour…..NOW IS THE HOUR!!
  3. Out of my brain on the 8.15…….ask Roger Daltrey šŸ˜‰
  4. Agree completely Ronnie. You can see Sharon’s character there once again, for me she’s 100% genuine. It’s good to hear that they’re both saying something ā€œgreatā€ is happening at the club. Memories fade with time and it’s easy to become blasĆ© about things. I watched the ā€œ Big Sam’s Boltonā€ programme recently and it wowed me. It reminded me of just how great that period of our history was. For our club to attract those players and achieve the things we did was truly PHENOMENAL. Seeing John McGinlay reminded me of his era too, he was a true warrior. Whenever we had a big game and we had many during that time, whenever we needed a goal, he’d pop up and bag it. If a prime John McGinlay was in our current squad we wouldn’t be scrapping for the play offs, we’d be out in front of Lincoln. We’ve had our wobble, I was at Port Vale and witnessed its pinnacle. (fellow sufferers watch the above videos - they help šŸ‘šŸ™‚) I’m proud to be a Wanderer and wouldn’t swap it for anyone or anything, I hope SB and J Mc are both correct, something great is happening and another memorable era is on the way. It started at Plymouth and continues tomorrow against the Stockport hat makers. COYFWM!
  5. Hiya Bolty, Wanderlust, that’s the fella! šŸ˜‰
  6. I thought Moylan looked good, Draper too and McCandless? he looked good for this level of football. Expected CBT to skin Diakwa all game but after a bright start he faded and Apter disappointingly never even got started. Some good performances in there too though. Quite impressed with Lincoln but not overly. A physical side but not whinging about it, I think if we could add some of that to our game we’d get a better chance to show our quality. Someone mentioned earlier that’s how Big Sam’s teams did it. An old school Lever Ender lives at Scampton near the old base, Ginge, Ginger or more correctly Kev Lawson. Scooter boy who organises huge charity rides across the country etc, good lad. He features in the Quadophenia film a few times šŸ™‚
  7. Hiya Dimron, I recall bumping into the Strugglers landlady on a couple of nights when she was off duty. She would go in the Wig and Pen pub? or whatever it’s called near the top of Steep Hill. She did like a drink if memory serves me right. No I never lived over there, I did stay in many hotels though. The White Hart in Lincoln centre plus Holiday Inn? on the waterfront. Various others all over Lincs, Petwood at Woodhall Spa was a favourite because of the Dambuster connections. Anyway, watched the game on telly, they were a well motivated, well organised physical side with some good players for this league. We struggled to compete for big spells of the game, but we stuck at it , got the equaliser, then tried to nick a winner. Happy with the point but feel slightly fortunate. Beat Reading and more importantly Evatts Oranges (always hated them for so many reasons, too many to recount here) and I will feel a lot better.
  8. Envious Dimron. Great day for a football match over there, hope the Struggler still has the real ales, the wood fires and sound locals. Had a few good nights in there, the landlady was a real character.
  9. Right then you arrogant, shite talking, entitled, serial cheats, are you up for this? Apologies if I’ve offended any of you, I’m only quoting the thoughts of some fans on their forum (not all of them tbf). They don’t like us much do they? Back in the day when I worked over in Lincolnshire on the RAF bases, I always found them to be quite pleasant folk, although I never met an actual Lincoln fan in all my time there. The RAF lads didn’t like the locals, they often had rucks with them when they had a run in the city. They had a name for them, Lincolnpoops. šŸ˜€ Those fortunate enough to have a ticket, have a fantastic day in a great little city. Very scenic with loads of good pubs and bars. Real ale buffs, seek out The Struggler pub, just behind the castle it was a cracking place back in the day, (fingers crossed it hasn’t changed). Bring back the points folks. Me, I’m expecting a narrow win. Our recent recruitment will kick in, rapid counter attacking and clinical finishing, with perhaps a nervy spell of hanging on at the death to make it interesting. But what would an arrogant, shite talking, entitled cheat like me know? COYFWM!
  10. Couple of messages below from the Lincoln fans board šŸ¤” Fair to say both camps realise the importance of this one. We have the potential to thump any team in this league if we turn up. Next week we must turn up, no excuses. COYWM!šŸ‘Š Hopefully lots of refrains of, 'You should have stayed at Lincoln'. Wonder whether we will try to rile him to get him sent off? Relatively easy to do, from memory. I think a draw is enough. Bolton have been maintaining points scoring with us, but they haven't been outscoring against us. A draw will keep them at bay and I think they will start to look at us a little beyond them. A phycological advantage that may prove very valuable in the run in.
  11. I think there should be some mention of the Grade A shithousery by the WSL faithful when we were under the pump at the death. Barnsley rush the spare ball to their long throw specialist, he’s winding up to hurl another bomb into our area …..and just at the optimum moment….right over the players head….the original ball is returned to the pitch 😃. (Well played that man!) Thwarted long throw man then goes into full on, jumping up and down purple faced rant at the crowd. šŸ˜‚ In return he gets very loud snidey laughter from the whole section and a sea of flicked v’s. I bloody love Bolton me! šŸ‘
  12. To be fair they do travel better and I know, I’ve had a couple flung at me in the past.
  13. Randall came on as a halftime sub for the oranges and lasted twelve minutes before popping his hamstring. Looks like he’s out for a while, hopefully they don’t send him back - Evatt let slip in his post match interview that Randall was training alone before leaving us. Girly strop perhaps?
  14. Trump to join them centre stage as ā€œOrange Morph Manā€
  15. Fuck me pink, this is going to be a long night 🄱 🄱 🄱
  16. Peter Kay on The One Show….looking like a slim line Sarcevic.😳
  17. Thank you Wullie, never fails to make me laugh. This could only be topped if someone was filming underneath the stand as he makes his entrance. The expression on his face, on the faces of those he lands upon….if only. šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø
  18. Any chance of a re run of those two wolfs falling through the roof at Scarborough? šŸ™
  19. I’ve done that with some England players THIS season 😳
  20. George Formby, Richard Ashcroft, Lisa Nandey, Ted Ray…..šŸ¤”ā€¦ā€¦..George Formby again, your boys took one HELL of a beating! 😘
  21. ā€œHull City at home was another. Five early arrival Lever Enders clearing out a couple of hundred Hull fans. Zulu - dear departed VB was one of the five as were you if I remember rightly? Zulu Jr. saved me getting my head stoved in that day. The best drop kick to the back of someone's knees I can ever recall It's amazing what beer, adrenaline and an overdose of testosterone can have you do ā€œ T’awreet Bolty? Zulu Jr here! šŸ˜€ Hull having a good season, brought a load of fans and ran across the pitch into the Lever End, long before kick off time. They then realised that Bolton were coming in the ground, squared up, for a few seconds, then legged it back out quicker than they came in! Breightmet lads, Reidy, MS aka Scosh, BW aka Moose, GW, VB you and the Zulu’s …amongst othersšŸ˜€ Saw the Hull fan sneaking round the back of you for a surprise attack , so I sneaked round the back of him and got him firstšŸ˜‚ Two lasting memories - Hull fan vaulting the fence to get out and giving it the v sign and big ā€œFuuuck Offfffā€ to the Boltoners as he went, he got half way through each before VB sparked him on to the running track, breaking his hand in the process. RIP lad. Scosh and GW continuing the chase across the pitch, catching a couple in the centre circle and leathering them. They both got lifted by plod and ended in court. Crazy days!
  22. To the point, but it’s where I’m at too.
  23. It’s now 4-0, Geordies having piss on their chips instead of vinegar. Weird lot them sweatys.
