I got verbally buttfucked by the know-it-alls on here when I suggested this exact same point in the summer. You make it when everyone is pissed off and they all agree. Most on here agreed with buying a second goalkeeper in the summer and now most agree that it was a waste of money. It's far easier to be a fan and point out a manager's mistake than make the decisions yourself.

So... We've had 3 "young" hungry managers in a row, all of whom most fans were very excited about at the time of signing. It seems all 3 are going the same route, initial burst of form and then dwindling fast, looking rudderless, and unable to get what, on paper, looks like a decent set of players playing to a reasonable level. Perhaps it's time to bring in a more seasoned mind and stop experimenting with the cheaper options?

In the build up, the same Leeds player (Dallas) gave Prince a tug which caused him to slip, Prince then caught him up and as soon as he touched Dallas' shoulder, he went down. Furthermore, Dallas then went to the referee to convince him to give a red card, which I don't think is fair because you've already given a penalty and there was a covering player. All in all, shit refereeing, but Dallas is a cunt.

So I've been thinking about this, and I don't want this to turn into another UK vs USA debate, but we don't seem to have quite as much of an issue with drunk driving over here (at least in my experience - and I live in a casino town). I wonder if this is down to the legal age that you can do stuff? In the UK, you can begin to learn to drive at 17, pass just before you're 18, then you can legally drink at 18. There's (at most) a year between getting your first car and then being able to go out on the razz. In the US, you can learn to drive at 15, legally drive at 16, and have to wait to 21 before you can legally drink. That gives around 5 years of theoretically completely sober driving experience. I know many people drink before they are of a legal age to do so, so it's probably not quite as extreme as I just pointed out, but still it makes me wonder. Thoughts?

We just had this over here, but it was related to movies etc. I can't remember the exact numbers but they were basically saying that blacks, asians, gays, lesbians, and women were massively under-represented when it comes to their relative population %ages. Apparently, that makes Hollywood bigoted. It's good to know that it's the whole world that is bigoted.

Reno can get as cold as -20C or so during the winter, but still it never feels as cold or as miserable as England does. I think it's the humidity in England, it makes temperatures feel way more extreme than they are. The dark before work still gets to me though, although I love it being dark when I come home from work.
