  1. Yet according to some on here, watching it live at the stadium offers a far superior view of what is going on in a game...
  2. I kept replaying the same few seconds over and over to try and give him the benefit of the doubt... Perhaps the ball was a smidge too high for him, maybe he lost it in the floodlights etc. Nah, it was just a terrible miss.
  3. Considering the inside dimensions of the goal are the ones that count, the size width etc makes no difference. Therefore, as far as the rules are concerned, hitting the posts or the crossbar is a miss. Although it can look brilliant if you hit them hard enough!
  4. Yep. This is how I've been listening to the games for the past 2 years so I was a subscriber anyway, but the 90 minutes is a nice addition.
  5. Technically they still can be: "The goalposts and crossbar must be made of wood, metal or other approved material. They must be square, rectangular, round or elliptical in shape and must not be dangerous to players." I believe they also have to be, at most, 5 inches in diameter.
  6. First shot on target, and it's deflected past Amos. Sucks, but shit happens.
  7. #BWFC team to face @burtonalbionfc: Amos, Wilson, Dervite, Holding, Moxey, Danns, Vela, Davies, Feeney, Clough, Madine #BOLvBAL #BWFC subs: Fitzsimons, Heskey, Dobbie, Twardzik, Woolery, Taylor, Walker #BOLvBAL
  8. That was the commentary from Wanderers Player dubbed over the top of the highlights. That's basically what I listen to every Saturday morning at 7am for 2 hours. He says "er" far too much, for sure, but as far as commentary goes he gets everything pretty much spot on.
  9. Called that a while back - looks a completely different player this pre-season.
  10. Prince Confirmed: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33802910 The thing that kills me in that article is the caption for the Tim Ream image... Like that's the stat you'd highlight for a defender...
  11. Good job really, what with all the guns and unstable Americans around here - there'd be massacres!!!
  12. Bob Taylor couldn't get a game for West Brom back in the day, a division below where we were playing. We still took him on loan and he played the majority of the season after he arrived. Not getting a game for a team means very little, honestly.
  13. Our AC here is set centrally for the entire building. Each zone is controlled separately but we don't have access to set it. No wars.
  14. 3 pages!?!? Recruiters rarely read more than 1. My advice would be to make it more concise, enough to get you an interview but not so much that they don't have any questions about what you did at each job. My CV (resume) fits onto one side of A4.
  15. Since been fixed, but here's the article. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3185035/Liverpool-goalkeeping-gaffe-spelling-Adam-Bogdan-s-wrong-kit-advert.html
  16. Didn't want to start a new thread for this: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33781942
  17. Made the mistake of opening up some of my ignored comments on this thread. Utter tripe.
  18. It's OK MR58, at some point this will turn into a transfer thread, and the transfer thread will have debt chat in it, and in both we'll end up mentioning twix a half dozen times.
  19. It's common sense mate. A lot of professional footballers, especially when they are getting towards Amos' age would prefer to play week in week out for a slight drop in salary. Also, don't get bent about people EFAing your posts. That's standard practice when you're talking bollocks.
  20. I could get out a map, but I'm fairly certain that Wolverhampton is closer to Stockport than Cardiff is.
  21. I got "anewman".
  22. Osede injured... great...
  23. If one hundred people have the same opinion then that's another thousand they've missed out on. Also, did I say you had to go to all the games to have an opinion? I don't. But then again I don't bitch and moan that we don't have money.
  24. You misunderstand. I am not saying I'm a superfan or that everyone should go. I am saying that if anyone says "I'm not paying for that" and then complains or can't understand why we have no money as a club, they can fuck right off (for me).
  25. It's TEN QUID. You can skip a couple of pints and its paid for... and it helps the club a little.
