  1. I suppose you'd have to say you have to have so many cat c and cat b games tied into it. You could boost the crowd for some crap games too doing that. For me personally I'd be happy to book the games at the start of the season. Like people have said its prob not worth the ballache for the club. It'd prob get a few more going to a couple more matches but then season ticket holders might go for it too.
  2. That'd be a great idea. Not sure if its worth it for the club but I'd be up for that.. with working a lot of weekends would suit me down to the ground.
  3. North stand lower think its about 13 quid a game with a season ticket which seems a good deal. Between 22 and 28 for pay on day. With the monthly payment system as well I reckon season tickets are good value at bolton. I don't think 28 quid for a championship game is but its cheaper then a lot. Ultimately the only way to get fans back is win games now.
  4. Are the trains running tonight? National rail website says they are but it said they were running last week as well though.
  5. Great performance. Mills was immense but they all ran themselves into the ground. Liverpool fans almost as quiet as anfield whilst bolton rocking second half. With a fully fit team and lennon in charge no one will fancy playing us.
  6. Good luck to kellet. Another example of a big club loaning out a player to a small club for them to get first team experience.
  7. Not sure if last minute but chungy at brum in the cup as well
  8. You beat me to it but colin cooper at burnden hurt. Besides that united after sir les scored. For us though there's loads. Kevin davies at wolves. Vaz Te at vitoria guim. Holdsworth against Liverpool at home
  9. Brilliant. Great day yesterday. You feel a part of it. Something the plastics will never know.
  10. Was the blackpool game the one were there player scored from the half way line? One of the best goals I've seen that.
  11. Its probably been said before but we shouldn't sell online straight away. Have a day of old school going to the ticket office with season tickets in hand then open it up to on line. Have it one per reference as well. The club can never judge demand so keep it simple.
  12. I say this but when I worked in liverpool and we beat united about thirty liverpool fans sent the backpage of Nolan celebrating in the next days paper to the one united fan in work through the internal post so they're not all bad.
  13. my ears are burning.. nah I don't hate scousers but I can't stand liverpool the fans are deluded, all the crap about the kop being full of the wisest, funniest and nicest fans in the country pisses me off.. and it being the best atmosphere in the country and they play the Liverpool way and the victim status. Plus the fact the fans are from all over the place. The other day there were 4 bolton lads on the train I was on calling each other manc bastards and scouse twats arguing about the united v liverpool match. If we win the lottery I'll be sending them to dignitas.
  14. Two clubs one soul was a flag I saw the other day. They want to support a small team and give it the biggie about watching non league football but they're all watching united on sky??? And singing united songs?? Saw them at chorley last year.. they walked round like they owned the place still had the united attitude and what they allegedly did to fylde the other year showed them in their true colours. There's a lot I admire about the idea, fan ownership and the community aspect of it but as a city mate said to me the other day. If they're so socialist, inclusive and against the modern game why call yourself fc united. You automatically exclude fans of any other team who are tired of modern football.... and breathe.
  15. Hard going that. I said before I've never known such negative feeling in the nhs but the police seem to be getting taken to the cleaners. With regards to the loss of unsociable pay in nhs, I suspect they'll be a lot of experience and skills lost very quickly, which if you look at say manchester children's hospital and they're move, doesn't get replaced.
  16. I realise it's probably a whole new thread but how bad are the cuts hitting the fire service?
  17. Not sure if it's guilty pleasure but saw tony bennett few years ago. Genuinely one of the best gigs I've ever been to.
  18. They want to get rid of unsocial hour pay allegedly. If it's true and it happens I predict a mass exodus of staff and more foreign nurses I imagine to replace them.
  19. We could go one better then half and half scarves and get thirds.. bolton/celtic/liverpool they'll sell like hotcakes.
  20. Taylor Swift. I want to hate her songs but I find myself with them in my head at work. I've given up the fight now, I'll join the fan club when I get round to it. That chuckle brothers rap as well.
  21. I reckon we'll get 5000 at least. Its been long enough to be a novelty. Good kick off time, fairly cheap, not rights day out, i can't wait be a cracking atmosphere in our end.
  22. Get to mini europe and the atom. Its about twenty minutes on the undergroundfrom the centre. Nice city to walk around and some good bars. Gare du nord though is best avoided. Bruges very easy to get to on train
  23. Yeah I'd go with that. There's going to be some pretty hard decisions to be made. I can only speak from my experience but there's been so many cuts made to government services that the nhs is now dealing with loads of stuff that's inappropriate but there's no other alternative. The government has also stated that they want to push prevention rather then treatment and community rather then hospital. In principle a great idea which in the long run would save the country millions. Unfortunately the government is pushing this policy but at the same time stripping money from local authorities that help fund parts of this so in truth it can't be introduced.
  24. To say morale is low is the understatement of the year. I don't know where it's going to end all this.i don't feel any allegiance to any political party but I agree with what freds dad said. Things that I'm hearing about and seeing. The NHS is at breaking point and certainly with kids services they're making even more cuts in the name if streamlining. As a finisher, if your kids got a blocked nose they are not 'seriously ill' and don't take them to a and e.
  25. When we played burnley a few years ago I caught the ball, I saw our full back in space composed myself and threw it quickly whilst shouting turn. This enabled him to get a quick throw in which we crossed over and kevin davies headed against the post... gutted, I'd definitely have wanted an assist on the opta stats and had a story to bore people with forever.. bit like I'm doing now.
