They charge an absolute premium though.

To be fair I reckon you could have asked a good percentage of the poor buggers sent to the front line who he was and they wouldn't have a clue.

I actually think I would buy that.

"Subject to availability, supporters with a registered account on 7th May 2024 will be able to purchase a maximum of six tickets in one transaction, providing the booker has all other individual Customer Numbers and surnames to hand or the rest of the party are already in their network." Does this mean I need to get the other people I want to come along to register so they get a customer number?

I think Oxford have quite a large day tripper quota but are restricted by the same rules we are on purchasing. So unless you are good mates with a season ticket holder, member or someone who is a registered user from a few weeks ago then you won't be getting a ticket. I think they won't be bringing as many as they could.

I guess I will find out tomorrow. I'm sure if some neutrals want to go and watch a match they must be able to do so.

I have a few mates who used to come and watch London matches with me in the 90s and 00s. Bit of interest in a few of them coming along to this but as I'm the only one registered will I be limited to only 5, if that?

Bit of a trek from the railway station if that's your preffered mode of transport. Baldock is good for pubs and access but if coming via London it's probably not worth it. Drink in KX and get the last direct train possible would be my advice.

They have a Harvester at the other end of the Roaring Meg retail park which is opposite the ground. Probably better getting a few cans and drinking them on the precinct though.

It was the day, as a child, I learnt what the word fatality meant. Dreadful.

A pub round here had a barrel of it on a couple of years ago, I think a small brewery got permission from Bass or whoever owns it to make it. They did the same with Bass as well.
