  1. Time to get with the script then and understand where the club is at. It is sad but definitely the reality of our situation. If an extra, say, £150k is made from this tie, it could easily be the difference between us being able to loan a player for the whole season instead of half. Or simply enough to afford an extra player's wages. That to me makes it a major bonus - when the draw could just as easily have been Middlesboro' at home, for example - but instead we are going to make money out of the game. Season changer!
  2. Full respect. I was hoping we would clear £200k, sounds slightly optimistic. For comparison's sake, they were away for all COC matches last season, whilst 32.5k attended their 3rd round tie vs the old Gold bastard twats in 2012. How much in receipts would you expect to generate from 32,5k paying punters?
  3. Anyone know what the split is on gate receipts for League Cup.....Malc?
  4. WHAT A SAD FUCK
  5. Well if we can't hope, what do we have left! And surely his goal at Sheff Wed proved his shooting prowess. I thought he was pretty influential in a couple of homes games too....pretty sure I was watching the same as you but perhaps we were picking up on different aspects of the game. Game of opinions and all that.
  6. Not from what I saw last season. Much stronger and a more imposing presence, can shoot and a surprisingly neat touch around the box. Just hope he gets a chance to express himself without being hounded. Then we'll see.
  7. Trotter will play a "big" role in our set-up this season. Whether the mongtards who wrote him off after one game like it or not.
  8. Surprised he stood out then!
  9. Free admission to Vitesse friendly for all season ticket holders. Now if that doesn't get the missing thousands flocking back, I don't know what will! In all seriousness, good call BWFC. Keep it up.
  10. Zat Knight, Brum away, off the top of my head.
  11. Bring on the cull.

Knight is staying if he accepts reduced terms (I'd hazard a guess at 10k a week) and rightly so.

Not forgetting Danns who will sign on a 2 year deal when allowed.

This Liam Trotter abuse has got to stop (it won't) Jeering him off / booing him on. Pathetic and shows up the worst elements of Bolton fans.
  16. Well said, Dougie. Unlike some of the cretins on here (whether present or not).
  17. And it's free to do so. I congratulate the ticket office!
  18. How many sad twats do we have "supporting" us?
  19. Don't stoop, Snoops.
  20. Not wishing to intentionally go off-topic, but you were happy with the "progress" under Neal (nearly 7 years at helm including dropping to bottom tier) yet can't appreciate that Freedman has got just as difficult a job to steady the ship and begin to move forward? After a year in job...
  21. Same team as Blackpool

Second only to Gudni in terms of personal admiration, from 'The Premier Years'. (are we allowed a separate thread of Top 10 Players from Premier Years?) On a side note, does anyone have a link to his play-off final goal? All the links I find are blocked - that run takes some beating!
