  1. Si, pur-lease. Going into this all-so-important season with that attitude will not help anyone whatsoever. Why not hope (dream?) OC has learnt from his naivety and "leads us back to the promised land" with goals, solidity and flair in abundance....as you, in particular, have been predicting. We haven't exactly got much choice now, have we? This season is all about keeping the faith.
  2. Was doing. Just sold mine. Dunno if it's the right thing to do, to be honest, but recently been having flashbacks to Oasis at Knebworth. Watching action from a shitty screen, feeling totally detached from stage and, not forgetting, 2 hour queue for booze. And the supports are wank. Friday's gotta be the one.
  3. Not necessarily from 8 years ago!
  4. You boring twat.
  5. Am I really looking at things in an overly Bolton-biased way to think that Mark Davies would have been a better bet than King Flop Henderson? I know who I'd rather fancy coming on with 20 minutes remaining looking for a goal.
  6. Declared himself unavailable unless a guaranteed starter. Oh aye, another red twat (admittedly on the quiet)

    fec bog?
  8. Well don't do it then!
  9. What, blue and lifeless?
  10. Don't tell your Dad you swear on websites!

Apart from Pratley, of course, but obviously he doesn't count.
  12. what A Prick, indeed.......creating a topic and not even arsed enough to spell the protagonist's name correctly. Cock.
  13. Shellsuits? It was balls actually. Much like De la Neal's tactical nous.
  14. fcuk me, for one one who spends so much of their life on this 'ere website...you really don't know fcuk all about the club that some of us of us hold so dear, do you???
  15. Apparently he was going to show him his highlights from the last World Cup!
  16. Thieving twat. Let's pull out all the stops to get Walters back whilst we're at it.
  17. My view is Petrov is an easy target. He was no worse than half the team and only "quit" as he was hauled off after, admittedly, a piss-poor display. The way some folk are talking, he'll be lynched on Sunday if he was to appear anywhere on / surrounding the pitch.
  18. Where did you hear that rumour? Off the same bloke who unreliably assured you Peter Bell never existed!! (as a failed Phil Neal signing, that is - sure there mnust be a few Peter Bell's knocking about so you're not having me on that one)
  19. Call yourself a fan! And that goes for Gambaro also. Heaven knows what or who he was supporting c1986!! Jay Jay's on the money...not the first time, I hasten.
  20. Let it go, whoareya! What did he ever do against you! He's history!! MOVE ON
  21. I thought you were referring to Sammy Lee's signing by Phil Neal - another master stroke! Peter Bell wins that particular award for 'Pointless Crock Signing of the Decade' though. Makes me laugh folk talking about how he took us up from the fourth (with a massive amount of luck, it must be said )having been responsible for putting us there in the first place with stumpier after stumpier signing. Maybe he wasn't afforded the money Rioch was granted by the board due to their lack of faith in him - and who can blame them; especially now since we've had the pleasure of seeing his antics around the dressing room and pitch-side in the legendary 'Cutting Edge' documentary. Oh aye, and getting stuffed 3-0 by Bristol City at Wembley and being forced to play a keeper who he'd publicly slated and humiliated just weeks before is far from one of my Wanderers highlights. He made a joke of BWFC for far too long - praise the lord for Bruce Rioch!
  22. Difference of opinion. Don't know how you can cast mine 'wrong' though. For the record, Neal did not save us. His sacking did.
  23. What? - taking us down to the fourth for the first time in our history! Ye, cheers Phil. Bruce Rioch rescued BWFC - end of.
