Transfer Gossip
Lots of chat over in Rotherham that Sam Nombe is going to sign. Word is that MK Dons were messing about with a low bid & we’ve swooped in. If true, there’s a decent player there if he stays clear of injury….

it’ll be interesting to see where Pierce Charles ends up on loan after signing for City. He was outstanding for Wednesday last year in a disastrous season for them. Wherever he goes he’ll be one of the best keepers in the division in my opinion….

Transfer Gossip
Watching the interviews with Fergal & Schuey today, Fergal fills me with confidence that he’s a man in control & has a plan. The fact that he’d been talking to David Watson since January also confirms this. If we sign Stephenson then our first 3 signings are direct replacements for the outgoing 3, probably not a coincidence. I also like how very little is leaking out into social media, looking forward to seeing which forward/wingers are incoming next.

Whites Away - Pre season tour 26/27
It is pal, I guess my point is get a taxi back or stay over locally but don’t rely on the trains as they appear to be shite….

Whites Away - Pre season tour 26/27
I’ve never really bothered with pre season games abroad that much but, still on the high from Wembley, I’m popping to Slovakia with lad & dad on 17th July to watch us play (as we’re away for all other friendlies) Theres an official thing with destinology but i’m booking our own route. For those thinking of heading over, it’s worth noting that Dunajská, where the game is at, is about 2 hours away from Bratislava on the train. Hotels in Dunajska are cheap as chips (£90 for a triple room with breakfast) for the day of the game on the 17th & saves the hassle of getting back to the capital after the game.

Stockport County - Play Off Final - 24th May
To the lads who drank in the globe on Baker St before the game yesterday who wore t shirts with a picture of their pal who’d passed away, I hope you had a belter knowing that your pal was watching an amazing win from the 4th tier at Wembley….

Stockport County - Play Off Final - 24th May
Yesterday was an absolute belter. Spending time with your favourite people watching the team you love win at Wembley cannot be beaten. My best mate came with us (Wednesday fan) & he said it’s so rare to have a chairman who’s so popular, she made sure that she thanked every one of our fans. There’s some chat about US investment coming in, I hope she sticks around if that happens. The reaction of the players who didn’t play yesterday said everything about Schuey. He’s built a brilliant mentality in that squad. Bring on the Championship, I can’t wait!!

Stockport County - Play Off Final - 24th May
- Bradford Away - 2nd Leg Thursday 14th May
I lumped the last £13 in my skybet account on Erhahon to score (25/1) the 1st goal at Bradford. Wrote it off when he got subbed off but then found the winnings in my account. I never knew that supersub was a thing & that uour bet rolls over to the player coming on. Happy days!!- Stockport County - Play Off Final - 24th May
On our last visit to Wembley we had 2 right footed centre backs & Oxford targeted Toal’s weak left foot. We’ll have a more balanced back line this time & the safety net of Erhahon so should be ok. We have to start Dalby!- Bradford Home - 1st Leg Saturday 9th May
One of the reasons McAtee signed for us was that Barnsley play off semi final. He raved about the atmosphere & that was why he chose us over Wrexham. We’re at home & need to have a go & I think he’ll start. On Kenny, I thought it was a smokescreen until I spoke to someone last night. It’s not great news but we’ve more than enough quality to win tonight without him.- Bradford Home - 1st Leg Saturday 9th May
Drove past the ground earlier today, the Kenny skips near the fanzone had an ambulance near it, is this a sign 😉 i have a funny feeling that McAtee plays a big part in these play offs…..- Luton Town (H)
Looks like a good crowd on Saturday. They’ll sell 3k & you can’t get 2 seats together in all areas bar south lower. Should be a belting atmosphere…- Cardiff City (A)
Not a great performance or result today but no need to panic just yet unless we repeat it on Tuesday. Train was cancelled at Manchester this morning while we were sat on it then we spent 40 minutes near Newport after a driver issue. Got into Cardiff with 10 mins of the game left….think we dodged a bullet by missing it though…. Schuey now needs to decide on his best 11 for the play offs & make sure that ACD is primed & ready to hit peak form…. Still feeling confident about going up, probably cause I didn’t see us play today….- Port Vale (A)
Was having a great day today. Good drive down& nice lunch in a little gem on the edge of kidsgrove. Great food & drink & catch up with family/friends. Then we got to Vale Park & them lot fucking ruined it. Outfought & bullied in midfield, no wide player beat a man all day. Same high ball in every time even though it wasn’t working from minute 1. Only Dalby walks away with any credit. Toal’s passing has been off for weeks & Apter has no confidence. I don’t know what our best 11 is & neither does Schuey….- Transfer Gossip
Really hoping that Rodrigues is the no10 that we’ve been looking for all season, if he is then I’ll forgive him for Wembley. Hardie is a great option up front & Schuey will know how to get the best out of him. Hope our fans sing the Cranberries Zombie (Hardie) song too as it’s a belter.- Leyton Orient (H)
I thought we played like tired strangers in that 1st half & had forgotten how to play with a back 4. Yesterday proved how much we need Sheehan & shouldn’t sell Morley too. Christie coming on calmed things down & he’s proving to be a clever signing. As one bloke said as I left the stadium, ‘Play crap but find a way to win & we won’t be far off promotion at the end of the season.’ I tend to agree….- Peterborough United (A)
Not long back. Used the drive home to make sense of what I saw. System issues - think Schuey has to change it. We’ve been sussed & off the ball Gale & Amario offer us nothing. 2nd half was much better & our fullbacks looked more comfortable as wingbacks. The irony of going to an Evatt system is lost on me. Cross the ball - the goal was a rare decent cross, we either delay it or we lack quality. Finishers - Burstows miss was awful as well as Gale’s 3 ‘conversions’. Need to get someone else in. Goalkeeper - loads of rumours of TSL going back to Chelsea, if true Miller is not the answer. At fault for goal 1 & 3 in my opinion. I’ve not given up on them yet but Schuey knew by the reaction at the end that this was a new low…..- Exeter City (H)

Schuey thought we got booed off, he referenced it in his interview . The folk around me in the north lower seemed to be booing due to frustration with the team and/or the referee. The point around Schuey & the squad/subs was a general point about how he doesn’t have favourites (Evatt), he views the game the way I’ve just seen it he doesn’t suffer fools. If you play poorly, you won’t play the next game. Cissoko has been good in his cameos off the bench but agree that he doesn’t justify a start. Are you saying that you wouldn’t pay 1.2m for him at the end of the season ? 😂- Exeter City (H)

Another important 3 points today. We’re 3 points off the autos yet haven’t fully clicked, in my opinion. Booing them off at half time was a head scratcher, we were a bit safe with our passing & their goal was a rare lapse from Teddy, but we were in control of the game. I like how ruthless Schuey is with subs & squad selection. Morley, Cogley & Taylor haven’t had a look in since Swindon, Cissoko was really poor today in the 1st half & got hooked. Bringing Tutu on for Christie changed the game today, gave us an outlet on the right & set up the 1st goal.- Bradford City (H) - EFL Trophy
Credit where credit is due to Schuey & the coaches. We’ve got a squad that are bang up for it & we’ll cope when we get injuries. Bradford lost 2 players tonight & they haven’t got anywhere near the same strength in depth.- Luton Town (A)
A hard fought point today. Had to dig in 2nd half but I think we’ll need another forward in January, Burstow tired today & the ball didn’t stick up front & led to us being under more pressure. Dalby huffed & puffed when he came on. Could have made the other subs earlier on as well. Game was crying out for Erhahon in midfield even before the sending off & Dempsey had a great 1st half but faded badly in the 2nd. - Bradford Away - 2nd Leg Thursday 14th May
