  1. Haha. Fair play to you. We only needed the 8 anyway. Luckily, our kid sorts our tickets out, so I don't have to bother with it much, but it does seem a flawed system.
  2. I'm not too clued up on it, I know your right as in the most in one transaction is 9 but listening to a few on here I'm assuming there is a way to book bigger groups together.
  3. To be fair, I think it's the "block booking" thing that people are keen to get sorted. There's 8 of us that want to sit together so that's why we wanted to do it early. And I'll bet that's a lot smaller group that some.
  4. Someone's just tried telling me we've already sold 30k this morning. In 3 fucking hours. 😂😂 Gotta love Chinese whispers from the JCL's

    Wembley 🍕

I know of a coach that is going to be full of 50 odd vile druggy thugs that are going to be bang at it from 5.30 in the morning when they're being picked up. I'm predicting a few heads to fall off before making it to Watford, never mind making it til kick off. I think I'd rather be on one of them dry coaches. 😂

    John Motson

Was walking down the steps to my seat today just as the teams were gathering on the centre circle, obviously for something. Asked our kid what this was for and he said "John Motson died t'other day dint he, you tit" Good job it was a minutes applause for the Ukrainians otherwise you'd have all heard me laughing at him 😂

OK, I'm well aware this could make me sound an absolute simpleton but.... we have 4 season tickets all under my brothers name, that has been the case for years. My concern is that last time we tried to get away day tickets the online system would only recognise this as one application.... i.e. one ticket. Now is this us being thick (entirely possible) or is it that cos all four tickets are under one person's name and then that counts as one person on this bollocks membership scheme that has come in long after we've been ST holders, so I don't even know if we're signed up to?? Apologies for long winded question, I ain't the most knowledgeable on the online booking side of things, and also as you'd probably guess at this time of night, I'm a little tipsy 😁
  9. Oh don't get me wrong mate, wasn't aimed at you or anyone in particular on here. But when he was booed on the pitch last week I had my head in my hands again, can't understand that. And I'm not on twitter but believe he was taking absolute pelters on there. Guaranteed half of them where the numpties trying to get a picture with him on the pitch tonight.
  10. That's exactly it for me. Far more excited for my 11 year old nephew than myself. Fuckin love it, love him and love the wanderers!!!
  11. Lives a couple doors down from my mate. Say what you want about him as a footballer but the abuse he's had is out of order. His Mrs was telling my mate that he's not been wanting to leave the house and was properly down about all the nonsense. I'm chuffed as fuck for the lad tonight.

    The TCS

He'll be rubbing his hands together with the fuss that's being made in the media will this Dougie, and fair play to the lad. Local guy done well for himself and putting money into the club, that's good enough for me 👍
  13. Yeah I did smirk when he had the meeting with the locals and pleaded that "the farm needs an income". What, aside from the Amazon filming crew all over it. 😁
  14. Yup, genuinely endearing characters.
  15. Its cracking telly. I'm not his biggest fan, don't mistake me for one of the pitchfork lot though, but its entertaining and informative of the plight of British farming in equal measure. https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2023/feb/10/clarksons-farm-series-two-review-hard-to-imagine-him-punching-an-underling-for-messing-up-dinner Only really decided to give it a go after seeing that article. Sums it all up quite well.
  16. I know this is jocular but I do a fair bit of work for UU, albeit through a third party, and the lack of actual maintenance that then leads to frivolous spending of replacement of parts time and time again is ridiculous. As I say, we are subbies of a company that do the work for UU and so no one gives a shit as they all make a bit on top along the line. It's madness.
  17. Your not wrong about the fanny. First time I've been in probably 10 years, hate the place, but last week the Mrs made us go cos she "needed" to go the Levi shop. Jesus wept, hotties everywhere. Head nearly fell off was turning that much. Mrs called me a dirty old cunt when she eventually caught me, and she is, of course, correct.
  18. Nice one mate. Just give him them 👍
  19. Ma brother has just asked if I know anyone that fixes garage doors. Am I OK to give him this mobile number to ring mate?? I know some of you lot know eachother in the real world and not sure whether that would be a business mobile number or personal.
  20. Yep, I wouldn't say mates but I know a couple of guys like that. One of them has his mates genuinely concerned about him. Started with the vaccine theories then went down some weird rabbit hole, hardly ever leaves the house now. As you say frightening really.
  21. Mrs showed me one the other day claiming that Djokovic's aussie open win brought his revenge "full circle" cos Bill Gates was sat in the audience watching. I don't even know if that's true, but either way, absolute fucking loons 😂
  22. I just can't understand the thinking of booing or cheering the substitution of one of your own like it was on the night. Like I said at the time, it made me feel really uncomfortable. I get booing opposition players or referee, it's almost pantomime like, but put yourself in his position on Tuesday night when thousands of folk who are supposed to be on your side do it and tell me you wouldn't find it upsetting. Anyway, it's been discussed to death on here really. I just find it counterproductive and a bit moronic tbh.

    Accy tickets

I tried this morning but no joy. I'm not that bothered but understand people's gripe that go to alot of aways, I very rarely go to aways. The only irritation for me is, as a season ticket holder for years, I know I'm not alone, I can't get near them but I know a few lads that only go to home games 2 or 3 times a season but always get away tickets they want, including 2 that have got accy, just cos they have a contact at the club. Don't seem fair to me that.
  24. Said that last night to fella sat next to me. You could name pretty much any other player and all the anger would just be aimed at officials.
  25. Good stuff, cheers. Not listened yet.
