Im pretty much the same . Im a BWFC fan rather than a football fan . I may take up a few local non-league games which for me would be Clitheroe or Padiham . Other than that Read Utd as a couple of mates kids play there but that would be more about a few pints on a Saturday afternoon . But in all likeli-hood Id be getting pissed and crying whilst watch Dave Higson;s highlights.

Im not exactly dad of the year but I have a 20yr old daughter . Our relationship is Ok but we dont see each other that often . FWIW my take is that you should respond in someway . A no response could well be taken as you dont care and a validationof her current feelings . A letter is fine but there is no guaranteeing it would be read . Maybe an email or text message where you can see that its at least been opened . The content doesnt have to be very long , basically along the lines of "despite not wanting to see me at the moment , I will never close that door and will always be there for you no matter what as your DAD " As they say , time is a great healer and situations change regularly . So not all hope is lost . The wedding is tricky , its her wedding and if you are not invited you shouldnt go . However I would want to see my daughter in her dress with my own eyes just once . Im sure you will be able to get photos of the big day from other family members. but maybe you could see at a descreet distance as she enters the church. I dont think its a problem you should concern yourself with now . If the wedding is in a couple of years then allsorts could change between then and now . You have my full sympathy with your situation and Im sure you are devastated just as i would be . try not to get dragged into a war who knows what the future holds. Best of luck .

You are assuming and generalising . For some people the RSPB (for example) would be the one and only charity they would follow and would place it above all others . I couldnt care less about them . I want the board at BWFC to have chosen and do what they are doing at , what I consider, is MY football club . IMO the football club is Vital to the local community and I would use what happened to the town of Accrington after the football club folded as an example . Everyone involved at Bolton Wanderers could have pumped all their money into Cancer research . Im glad they didnt .

I reckon thats pretty much what they are thinking . A loan in Div 1 and another good season , followed by a decent half season in the Prem and suddenly he is 30-40 mil .

Back in the Prem I smacked a Bolton fan sat behind me . Obviously flagged up on the cctv , stewards gripped me , took me down the stairs , gave me a "career brief " then took me back up made us shake hands and i returned to me seat .
