  1. I was generally supportive of Evatt - at least until Huddersfield walloped us early in the season after the Oxford debacle. But Dan being like Ivan Toney, Etete being like ‘prime Drogba’ and Randall a ‘top player’ is bordering on delusional
  2. John McGinlay - Fort William and Yeovil
  3. Subs: Dixon Gordon Maddison Delfouneso
  4. Yeah, I was at that. I think it was Waddle who had one on that was a couple of sizes too small!
  5. That is probably the right decision re Johnston. But I think it is important to recognise that he has been a decent player for us at this level and always put in a shift.
  6. Met Office saying 32 degrees in London on Sunday. Could be that the benches are even more important than usual - and how and when subs are used.
  7. They did. But I live locally and I get the sense that they’ll take more than for Vertu final. May be wrong.
  8. I think they’ll take closer to 20,000
  9. Fair enough. We’ll have to disagree on that. I think he’s been made a bit of a whipping boy
  10. Agreed - Johnstone was outstanding too. I really don’t understand the grief he gets
  11. Forino was outstanding last night. Didn’t miss a single thing in the air. Off the back of the match - I’m exhausted. Didn’t really sleep. Feel like I had about 15 pints last night (I didn’t have any). Football shouldn’t really do that to you
  12. I don’t think he lasts 90 minutes. So the choice is: start with him and then when we’re potentially on the back foot for the last 30 minutes have no way of going long to relieve pressure. Or bring him on for the last 30 mins to relieve pressure (and potentially for extra time)
  13. I thought it was a decent performance yesterday. The limitations were that because no Kenny and Dalby we didn’t hit the channels and there was (probably understandably) a bit too much sideways and backwards. Possibly the question for Schuey is if we’re not going to get 90mins out of Dalby, do we start with him and mix it up from the start and then substitute him? Or save him for later in the game when we could be on the back foot and need an outlet to go long and relieve pressure?
