100% this. We've seen it plenty of times over the years, when the team loses confidence in putting the ball in the back of the net, the clear cut chances start to disappear. Conversely, if your centre-forward's on fire, everything gets fired in quickly to him and you create those clear cut chances that have been lacking recently. It's up to SS to sort it, and I really hope he does as much of the play otherwise (pre last couple of games) has been good.

Could be, and a rare positive from Trump - threatening to bomb if they shoot protesters. Though, tbf, if any in the Iranian regime have a sense of humour they should threaten Trump with the same. Regime change in Iran could be seismic. Denies Russia of another ally in the region (after Assad's fall), potentially ends funding for Iran's proxies (Hezbollah, Hamas, etc) ... which could in turn negate Israel's rationale for kicking the fuck out of everyone. Could be very very positive this. (caveat - could also be a shitshow depending what comes next)

I think I'm stating the bleeding obvious here, but nobody's mentioned it previously in the great inverted wingers debate. The whole point of inverted wingers is that they are supposed to be able to go either way, equally capable of cutting in on their stronger side or going on the outside. The alternative - play them on their 'natural' sides - is (theoretically) easier to defend against.

Not getting the Run Away likes tbh. Thought it was comically bad. Barely a credible scene in the whole thing, and some of the dialogue was like it was written by a 12 year old. Don't understand how the books are so good and the TV adaptations so wank. Always something a bit twee about them despite trying to be dark and edgy. Like Enid Blyton trying to be James Ellroy. Did give us some unintended laughs though, so not all bad.

Didn't expect to see snow in Charente Maritime, but woke up to 4 inches of it yesterday. First time since 2008 qpparently. Absolutely fucking beautiful everywhere. Our little dog ended up looking like a snowball, but he loved it.

Venezuelans who've left Venezuela are happy ... think we'd all assume that'd be the case. Getting away from the regime (and / or conditions under the regime) is the biggest motivation for folk who've left in the last decade or two. You posted a video of celebrations in Venezuela - supposedly current - and literally said "a bit of reality". Whereas, in reality, it might not be a bit of reality.

I'd be a bit sceptical gauging Venezuelans' reactions based on random twitter accounts. That clip looks like some kind of procession (going through the middle, left to right) - any reason to believe it's not an old clip?
